Clearly at such depressed share price levels it's natural that there is third party interest and the more the better. What no one knows if a firm bid will come and if there will be counter bids. It almost makes me think that the strategic review might have a dual purpose ie allow restructuring were needed on the back of independent advice and package this for a sale at a higher price. Either way this is IMO a turning point for the Group and will allow shares to pick up from these depressed levels.

Imranawan - Yes, I have a modest position (£1250). I was considering topping up recently, then thought better of it as I believe the business will continue to deteriorate before a turnaround, and that could be at least a couple of years away. There's heavy trading in this share atm, but it's just the usual situation of bandwagon jumping whenever a hopeful bid rumour surfaces. I'll believe it when I see it.

Bought some more this morning, with or without a bid, I like RTN, it's got decent assets ripe for a takeover.

I'll happily sit and take a 5% dividend twice covered whilst I wait.

Imo, bid will come in at 4.50 and counter bid/s will emerge and push the price to £5. That is the top price based on T/O.
