NYB - see my post 351 of 362. Now I know the answer to the vendor but still not the purchaser.

Thanks NYBoy,

I'm rather overweight in UK commercial property via an investment bond I purchased a year ago. Whilst they were purchased at the 'bottom' they haven't given spectacular returns by any means.

I have bought into the European recovery via IERE though for my own portfolio.

In March last year I split my funds 60/40 with an IFA and a year later the bond is up 35% and my selection of stocks is up 110%!! At the six month review meeting, when I was up 75%, our chat comprised mostly my giving him tips on why I'd selected the shares that I had!

I'm hoping that the recovery is only just beginning and that we've got several years of above average returns to come.

lomcovaks> Have no regrets, only if you didn't buy any! Drip feeding in here on the recovery. If you are looking for a vehicle to ride the UK property market, take a peek at Grainger Trust (GRI) around 140p to buy, they own a huge portfolio (£850M +) of tenanted properties across the UK. They have been in business for decades & know their stuff in this sector.

Yes, I'm begining to regret my rather timid purchase of only 12.5k shares last week. I will certainly be adding on any retrace.

The million sell was an interesting trade. Been picked up by someone/some company. It has not affected the share price much.

Stock selection all important going fwd in the markets, this one I'm sure will be well suported!

Well, Nick, that is generally what markets do! Look forward to the following year, that is! Good Luck anyway, but personally I think that there is still a lot more to come here, together with the outside chance of a bid given that HANOVER might be looking for a way out.

Decided to sell for now. Bit of a guess ( and wrong many times :( ) and would buy back in lower if I get the chance. Mkt cap versus expected profits for 2011 seems very high to me.Maybe the market is looking further ahead to 2012 and beyond.

Good luck though is you're holding.

An unequivocal breakout. We seem to have clearly left 25p behind. I bet that those who did not take up their rights at 20p will be kicking themselves.

saltaire thanks. Yes this looks like it is heading for a breakout. Good price action. I noticed MFX has just bounced off the bottom so may well be worth buying at that level.

Good to see Knowing on board here. I've followed your buys for a while via ADVFN and you're a shrewd guy (or gal).

I first bought into RNO about nine months ago and went through the rights and increased my holding steadily throughout. I also bought SNR and FNR at about the same time and I've done really nicely from those two. I think RNO is lagging somewhat but it does appear that the market is recognising the value here - about time.

In these market conditions these kinds of stocks can easily double in months, its been under-valued for far too long, looks like investors have twigged here!
