Results tomorrow. Ex-div 12th August. Good results could see people buying in for the dividend prior to 12th. One to tuck away here I think.

What's not to like about TRIG, helps the planet, 5% yield and a bit of growth to boot.

I guess Trig managers will now have their fingers poised on the sub ipo trigger. Got to be tempting, raise 250 million at a 10p premium to nav, use that premium to pay half the next dividend without a call on income.

Good to see this. Is this money cycling back into Renewables after the last few months? Wouldn't be surprised if volatility in markets and small caps meant people look for steady/defensive shares.

The range of renewable companies on the Market are a safe way to get a 5 to 7% yield.Good low risk investment.

Problem with this company is that any new investment is usually followed by a placing at closer to NAV, even though it usually recovers quite quickly I sold on the news.

Is that not the definition of a real Ponzi scheme...?

Where the cash from new investors is used to pay the dividends for the existing ones... let alone those wishing to "cash-out".

The premium on new cash raised above the nav ironically secures the dividend even if it crashes the price. Each time there is an issue that premium covers about half the next dividend without dipping into nav. No wonder the Management love them.

Even if there ends up being very little capital growth, it has a nice 5.4% dividend for very little risk. That is the main attraction here.
