Apparantly the closing price in Singapore equates to 28.5p in LSE.

jus confirmed that volume in singapore was 30million shares for GMX so this is why huge rise
prob see stock rise throughout the day to bout 20p+

Adr's often have a value that is a multiple of the UK share price, eg (from memory) VOD is 10X value in the ADR.....they are 1p shares here....can anyone find the SGX underlying value?

In theory they do, same as a uk share listed in adr's on the NYSE but in oder for the price to remain equal you need banks to arbitrage the trade to balance them out - Usually this would be someone like Goldmans Sachs who has a presence in say Singapore & London whre they can sell one & but an equal quantity of the other for perhaps a client.

As the difference is so high today this maybe happening here.
