Still think that any moves will be dependent on where Singapore want to take it, no real pullback yesterday, in fact strong into close, same the day before.

Bit like being a puppet on a string, albeit still lagging significantly.

All I meant was that I would have thought that after 3 consecutive days of rises we would see a small tick back on profit-taking before the next upsurge, but I guess this is no ordinary rise due to the bid/merger situation therefore we may see a continued upsurge tomorrow depending on what happens in Singapore.

We have already seen almost a 100% rise since Monday, after all, but maybe I should bow to superior knowledge on this one ?

Just picked up two lots of 10K having looked at the singapore chart. They closed last night at 96cents which is equivalent to about 30p. These have got to be cheap at 21p.

Last 3 days trades etc.:-

16/02/04 Volume 1.6m, opened 9/11p, closed 12/13p
17/02/04 Volume 1.98m, opened 12/13p, closed 12.5/14.5p
18/02/04 Volume so far 4m+, opened 13/14.5p, currently 19.5/21p

Would three days in a row not ordinarily signal a possible retractment tomorrow, unless of course there is another significant RNS tomorrow, IMHO.

Last 100K buy (an M trade) showed up @ 12.00, so we need a few more of those in the next hour or so to incite any further price surges towards the end of day targets which have been talking about, IMHO.

47k bought at 1.20
more buys following that
hopefully a lot more
hopefully big punters will push the stock higher
they can push the price to 25p

I see you have predicted at least 5 possible end of day target prices so far- 25p, then 30p but have since downgraded it twice from 25p & then to 23p- has Shenkis's comments forced you to have a serious rethink on your target ?

Are you considering averaging down by any chance ?

Oh & by the way, where does the possible 35-50p bid price come from & what timescale are you talking about ??

transaction is being negotiated with an international pharmaceutical products
company, that may or may not lead to a merger between the two companies. We
have stated that it is our aim to build a global company focused on the
research, development and manufacture of generic therapeutic proteins, and
improved formulations of those proteins. Also, we have recently indicated that
we are looking to access the US markets. We can confirm that the current
negotiations are consistent with this strategy."

The Directors will keep the market informed of developments.

I presume if 3rd quarter results were released in November then the full year results must be due very soon within the next 2-3 weeks ?

I did notice that although the comparative Gross Profit was down from £75,881 to £13,945, the comparative net loss improved from around £6,587,571 to £4,849,936, so I guess that GMX must be in recovery mode irrespective of any bid/merger, which must surely be a good sign, IMHO.

Well you convinced me that this has further to rise, but not so sure if it will be today- we could have already peaked @ 21/21.5p, however I will be delighted to be proved wrong ??

I think we will need to see some heavy consistant buying this afternoon, before we can really consider your end of day target of 25p+ being feasible.

Unfortunately I do not have the benefit of L2, so is there anyone here who can shed any light on the current state of play ?
