Ok, just me here but these are going back to a quid pretty quick imo - the crowd won't be far away.

The chart is turning around beautifully - much like KLR, SVS and many other oversold stocks imo.

"very very cheap bar mega recession"

mega recession? Oh, I don't know, even a minor one might stuff it. After years of very favourable economic conditions, RGU profit margin has reached 13% turnover. Historically, this is probably about as good as it gets. Given that its business relies on the difference between the (relatively fixed long-term) base rents it pays to its landlords and the high short-term rents and service charges it receives from its tenants, it is at the mercy of two key drivers - occupancy rates and REVPAW charges. America is still substantially the greatest part of the business and occupancy levels there were around 85% at the interims (in the bad old days of 'old' Regus they were sometimes below 55%!). The finals are announced in March and 2007 is clearly going to be a good year, but watch out for any guidance on forward trading. Any significant deterioration of those occupancy/REVPAW stats and that 13% margin could disappear in a puff of smoke. They say they restructured the model after their Chapter 11 experience; we may be about to find out if that is so.

Yes I did realize that ...thanks jeff.......but I'm still puzzled at the frequency and all sorts of thoughts come to mind what they may do with them....if they've got loose cash....why not increase the divi....which is pretty poor at the moment....what is it 0.5p.....not that that I'm looking for divi's but growth in the share price ...at the moment going the other way.....glad I wasn't in at a £1 plus........

"I'm just wondering what they are going to do with those shares."

calamity,
the usual purpose of a share repurchase scheme is to cancel the shares and reduce the number of shares in issue thereby increasing the reported Earnings Per Share. Lots of cash-generative companies do it. They sometimes call it 'a return of capital to shareholders' (but I'm not so sure; I'd rather have the cash!)

Whoops ...there we go again....company filling their boots with cheap shares....another one no doubt tomorrow........I'm just wondering what they are going to do with those shares....are they a defence against a possible hostile bid for the company.....probably not as Dixon owns such a whad....or maybe help him for a buy out..........hmmmmmmmmmm.....where'd he get the cash....something in the air no doubt....or just taking advantage....time will tell....hello ...anyone there.....

Another company transaction in own shares.....been going on for months now....wonder what the logic is...it hasn't affected the share price ...other than down...but that is only due to market sentiment which is evident nearly throughout the market...and the company must be in a better position to know It's a good thing to buy back shares....in treasury at moment...I suppose they could go on a cancellation spree in the future...or offer them to management or other staff by way of incentives in the future....without issueing new shares for such things....time will out I suppose........they also must have spare cash to do so........

Have you left a £1 out before the 80 ards.......

Thought everybody had left as posts are now few and far between these days.....seemed to occur as I bought in !!!!!!!!....any reason for that ???????.......maybe most past posters have jumped ship.....or jumped out of one of Regus's rented office windows........

Looking back at some of the holdings RNS's.....it occurs to me that the RNS issued with ref. to Goldman Sachs indirect holdings appear very close to the holding by Dixon.........also on the recent voting with regard to the share buying by the company and Dixons holdings..........I suppose and hope he didn't or should I say Goldman were effectively oblidged not to vote.......that is if those Goldman indirect holdings are in fact one and the same as Dixons....maybe the slight differences in holdings are the rest of the boards holdings.........at any rate the share price is now going in the right direction today ....long may it continue.......
