08/3/2017 10:17 | Sorry you'll have to download it from the link. | waterloo01
08/3/2017 10:13 | Good find waterloo, could you c&p the rec on here, i can't read all of it from the link you gave. o/t, Alch, i hope dig keeps posting on the other thread and avoids this one. That way we have two different styles of threads which should satisfy everyone. Look at the correlation of posts and the price, there is a link when there's no news to override bb postings. tunnel, yeah, subsidies really need to come off intermittent generation and go onto storage/dispatchable generation. The decc acknowledges that (wonders never cease!). Great if Hammond mentions and signals just that, but if he doesn't we can all be very confident that it will happen anyway at some stage. Grid engineers have known about intermittent grid disruption, warned about it an forecast it. It's got to get really bad before any gov dept changes it's flawed green inspired imperatives, and we are at that stage now, so things will change, benefiting red of course (that's why I'm here). | pierre oreilly
08/3/2017 10:02 | Battery Storage is Changing How Utilities Meet Demand Energy storage plays a crucial role in the future replacement of fossil-fuel power stations with carbon-free renewables. Due to the stochastic nature of wind and solar power, it is not only production capacity that will determine whether America can make this change, it is also if that energy can be stored affordably and in large enough quantities to supply the grid at times when electricity demand exceeds electricity production. With the help of batteries, wind and solar facilities will one day be capable of delivering a constant electricity supply to the grid by charging batteries when production exceeds demand. | dlg3
08/3/2017 09:58 | Budget in 2 mins......lets see if that holds anything for the storage industry !!!! Hope those that wanted to add more have done so already, budget or regulation news could shift this dramatically.... | dlg3
08/3/2017 09:55 | someone has been buying largish chunks over the last few days..... | dlg3
08/3/2017 09:53 | as soon as news leaks that another company is stake building here, this will be past 50p in a flash.... | dlg3
08/3/2017 09:52 | To ten bag you have to double. New coverage with a forecast of ten-fold would lack , what word to use?, plausibility. | alchemy
08/3/2017 09:51 | I am more interested in REDT, than CWR or IEH or any other company, or will there be enough vanadium in 5 years time, you will be lucky if REDT is still around by then, they will have been taken out..... so could not care much past the next 2 years... | dlg3
08/3/2017 09:46 | Each and every technology will have there place in the market....... | dlg3

08/3/2017 09:44 | net REDT already have close to £20 million and do not need to find manufacturing costs as Jabil take care of that saving REDT £100,s of millions....... | dlg3
08/3/2017 09:35 | Green both sides, as it were but by economics and physics. So we are down .25, I see a one - day reversal. | alchemy
08/3/2017 09:33 | AISHAH: 22p - why so low? I'm hoping for a five bagger to ten bagger... Do they say why they think its only going to double? | netcurtains
08/3/2017 09:31 | VSA Capital Initiates RedT Engergy Plc with a BUY and sets 22p target. | aishah
08/3/2017 09:16 | I'd have thought Hammond won't incorporate big shifts in policy , isn't something on the cards later this month?I hope opposite to my "forecast" mind you! Storage is a huge step-change, and the reason I don't mind all dig's posts off topic as far as Red is concerned is that many are on topic so far as the huge revolution in power and energy model. And the grid network carries forward, so it's not canals to railways. This is huge. It all links the new London taxi to huge investments in PV round the world. | alchemy
08/3/2017 08:57 | So I wonder if this will kick in today? From Oct 2016 - "The Government should redesign its Capacity Market—a subsidy scheme designed to minimise the risk of electricity blackouts—to incentivise innovative energy storage and demand side response (DSR) technologies that could make our energy grid cleaner, more flexible and secure, the Energy and Climate Change Committee says" | tradermel
08/3/2017 08:47 | plus no second infastructure. ie... gas pipelines, these have to be repaired, maintained and replaced....whith a storage machine you connect to electric supply, no extra cost...these have to be taken into account, it is like nuclear, you have to take into account disposing of the waste and the maintaning of the disposal site, that is besides the huge building and running costs, but they never do.....the real cost of nuclear is huge.. Low figures can also conceal large subsidies. If, for example, the £72 bn or more that British taxpayers are going to pay for decommissioning the last generation of nuclear power plants and disposing of the waste were added to our electricity bills instead, the true cost of nuclear power would be more obvious. | dlg3
08/3/2017 08:40 | would you buy 2 boilers to heat your house when you only need to buy one??? | dlg3
08/3/2017 08:39 | net the only problem there is that natural gas is one of the most ozone depleting gas there is and hydrogen takes more power to produce than it gives off, so why would anyone want to convert solar into hydrogen to then convert back to electricity??? Why would you buy 2 pieces of kit, one to produce hydrogen then one to convert to electricity, when you can buy just one, Flow machines have very little to go wrong with them and are not suject to huge amounts of heat, so they do not wear out quickly... Atmospheric methane is the methane present in Earth's atmosphere. Atmospheric methane ..... Methane emissions occur in all sectors of the natural gas industry, from drilling and production, through Methane is the major component of natural gas | dlg3
08/3/2017 08:11 | Good results from CWR today - at reads like it Are they in the same market as RED? | netcurtains
07/3/2017 22:06 | Green Charge has been designing and deploying commercial energy storage since 2009, with systems installed throughout the United States. Backed by ENGIE, the largest independent power producer in the world, Green Charge’s mission is to use energy storage to power the world efficiently and sustainably. Our team is comprised of top energy storage industry experts, who provide performance-based solutions to optimize the value of energy for our customers. Our ecosystem of solar, EV charging, and energy efficiency partners allows our customers to combine energy storage and renewables easily and economically.
