RedT, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange’s Aim, claims it can sell its devices at half the price or less of its redox flow rivals.

I've attached a link below from Autumn of 2016 that takes a view on Vanadium & power storage Providers. I'm getting the distinct impression that Gildmiester have the significant edge over us & are more advanced in the penetration of the market, let alone what the secretive Chinese are upto.
The link was taken from a poster over on the LSE thread & felt it gave a balanced view, although it incorrectly states Scott McGregor is of US origin.

"The Feed-in Tariff gets reduced every quarter. If you are considering solar panels don’t wait too long as you will want to qualify for the current higher Feed-in Tariff rate."

Pierre, just a quick look and I see that wind farms are not getting same value as you are with your pokey system....

Why don't you show us your tariff online, put all this to rest.

I must stress to all this has absolutely nothing to do with redT and is therefore a totally pointless exercise altogether, but then you did start what I would suggest are ridiculous claims on a feed-in tariff that just isn't available.

I await links and evidence, no more steam!!!

the beauty about wind and solar is there are no drilling or mining costs, you have no radioactive waste to dispose of.........you do not have to refine it, it is clean and does not poison our children and the planet they have to live in when the likes of us have poisoned it beyond repair....so we could carry on our addiction to fossil fuels or make the transition to renewable energy....I myself rather favor the renewable route even if that entails a little extra cost... the dirty fossil fuel club would rather kill everybody for a few quid profit.....there are a few in the dirty fossil fuel club that have seen the writing on the wall, maybe when all the back hand payments stop, commonsense may prevail....

Britain gave an average of £5.9bn worth of subsidies a year to fossil-fuel firms such as BP and Shell in 2013 and 2014, most of it in the form of tax breaks to help boost declining North Sea production, according to the institute.11 Nov 2015

can you imagine if they put that much into renewables!!!!

£50 million in curtailment payments...£5.9 billion in fossil fuel subsidies....no comparrison really!!!!!!

how much is a litre of fuel??? how much is road tax??? how much is insurance tax??

how about a small tax on electricity, then they will not have to pay those dirty fossil fuel company,s £5.9 billion..

and as for nuclear well I would not know where to begin with that, it has more subsidies than i have time to mention...

but on the other hand if you said that it was going to cost you more at the begining, but as we install storage and get up to full speed, do away with fossil fuels the electricity will be cheaper...then everybody would be onboard.......

£50 million a mere drop in an ocean.......20 million houses in britain ads up to 5p a week per house.......small price to pay for green power pierre would you say not...I think if you said to householders that to have 100% green energy it is going to cost each house £1 a week, they would not mind......

pierre I dont think the emergency generating tariff is that high, but just twigged what you are on about, I will tell you seeing as you say it is a generating tariff, it is not, the tariff you are on about is paid to large wind farms to stop producing and can be as high as £1, if my memory is correct there was about £50 million paid out last year.......but I remeber seeing that your 2kw was insignificant and ofgen told you to sod off....

You're the only group posting nonsense dig and dog.

What do you mean 'post the tariff'? It's the fit, the solar Feed In Tariff (as it's called, it's not really a feed in tariff, it's a generation tariff). ffs, you post lots about solar power and you don't even know the very basics. I'm certain the fit is very common knowledge.

no post of the tariff and we will assume that it does not exist...

That's again an amazing bit of logic fail. The fit does or doesn't exist and its existence is independent of whether i post it or not.

Dogrunner11. Maybe, maybe not I am just signalling that in the future high quality ones as I described might(sic) take time.I hope to be euphoric.
