Well said troutisout, dogbreath will have bought much higher and is likely to have lost a lot on T20s. He could have sold at 16p and bought nearly double his shares back but he is not as smart as he thinks he is!

Anyone who likes this post, please give it a thumbs up. Those who dislike it a thumbs down. I will use the poll to decide if there is any point in posting here in future.

RE post 10441 "james2708 if you do not like what you read filter or post on trouty,s thread....you may well be trouty...good luck what ever your agenda......but with your veiw on the risk here I would be selling....

Everyone is entitled to a veiw, but I know of nobody that would go out of their way to knock a stock they own....and as for company,s going bust 16 years ago there are many reasons, but back then the technology was not the same, that is why REDT have spent the last 15 years perfecting it and did not bring it to market until they were ready.....have a listen to Scott....there are many companies that have rushed to market...."

Well DLG3 earlier today 3.1.2017 you encouraged me to post as a new years resolution.Well I have and I have indeed learnt a lot. At no stage have I knocked REDT as one reading of your post might suggest. Investors need to be informed not driven by too much emotion. The REDT product looks good, the round trip efficiency as anticipated, the risks look high but then a risk reward analysis will limit my exposure . It is true I am a reluctant nuclear advocate. I understand its risks, like George Monbiot and others I have changed my mind, I was very anti nuclear power. I see the overall risk of Climate change means it is a rational risk to take, to embrace Nuclear as part of a low carbon mix.If I raised the topic of is an anathema for you then perhaps it would be better to post elsewhere. I would not want to distort this board thread in that manner anyway though. If Lithium batteries are so dangerous will you be selling REDT when they produce their first hybrid flow battery with lithium as they (REDT) are researching?!! I am beginning to understand more of the mentality of people who post here. Try as I might I have been unable to find out about the 15 years of research from REDT about their product development and its named predecessors. I guess it is not in the public domain. I feel sad that highlighting the risks is seen in the manner you describe in post directed at me.

dig, astounding!

You asked a poster (and not me by the way) to post his critical views, even after he pointed out he had kept back any critical ideas from the thread (and that he was a holder), when he posted them, you now tell him to go onto another thread and to sell up.

You either crave arguments or are completely nuts, I think you the latter and slightly unstable, your attempt to suggest everyone that doesn't fawn over you and your view has an agenda or is another poster is ridiculous.

As for dogsbreath he bought in days before the last placing, he bought at 10.5p and the placing knocked the price back down, he then went into major ramp mode. Before you say yes he then added when the price was lower, he may well have done but he may have addded recently when it was much higher as well.

As for 4p levels that was for the old timers here and there aren't many of them left posting on this BB and Dog was not one of them.

If Redt is such a bad investment I wonder why the recent placing to raise £15m was oversubscribed. It will also be interesting to see the who took up the 185m shares, since the principal investors will be institutions, not garrulous PI's.

In response to your concerns all the company,s went bust early in 2000 it is 16 years later now and the timing is the thing.....and with regards to petrol stations, I do not know of a petrol station that suffered from self ignition do you???

If I was you I would sell up no, there is a buyer waiting to buy your shares.......there is also a market for lithium despite its problems, but lithium will not fill the space that flow battery,s will take up.... that is why we do not have petrol driven lorry,s in abundance....why??? because there is a market for both fuels...

Nuclear is the most dirtyiest fuel on the planet...you clearly are not invested....try a chernobyl or a fukushima....at least with lithium after the fire you can bulldoze the debries away, you do not have to wait 100 years !!!!!

I would take your nuclear energy argument elswhere....it has its place at the moment.....

If people want some background to the REDT Gigha project, then follow the link from Chris Goodall a respected renewable energy advocate. It includes a comment in the comments section from John Samuel who has been involved with REDT.
