Disposal for £21.6m. Market cap of £22m at 108p. Therefore software business valued at nil?? Sellers below 125p must be crazy! I think this is just technical resistance/over head supply of previously disappointed investors etc. IMHO holders/buyers have a very positive 12 month outlook.

Software seems to be growing fast, both organic and acquisitive, so difficult to make direct comparisons. Revenue of £1.6m for the whole of 2017, £1.8m in the first half of this past year, and £3.5m for the second half. Momentum should take the total for 2018/19 to over £7m organically.

Good annocenent and strong rationale for the disposal at a good price. Hopefully some of the mentioned large software pilots will turn into concrete contracts on top of a well priced earnings enhancing acquisition and we should be off 😀 I have confidence in Braund to do exactly as he promises...to deliver shareholder value!!

Big lump of cash left ~£22m ? greater than current market cap, and software business with revenue of £5.3m. At this level the profit on software will not cover central costs, but it is growing quickly. A return to shareholders may happen after 2 years if not fully invested.

Now we know why the delay !! Selling part of the business for more than the total market cap. The market still has not forgiven management for yesteryears but the market has got it wrong !! Should be a good mark-up at the open !!

Results and disposal announced.

The disposal of the Systems Integration and Managed Services divison for £21.6m in cash equates to over £1/share!

What price will we open at?

I’m getting concerned about the lack of news. Final results expected by end of May and only 3 trading days remaining as well as no date for a mid June AGM. Is there something going on in the background, or am I getting paranoid?

Let's hope that the end of May deadline for publishing the final results will be honoured.

Tend to agree chasbas. Has had a rough ride since the October Interims where the dreaded H2 weighting was flagged, followed by the messy AP Systems approach and then a self-inflicted issue of setting expectations of a TU at the end of Feb that strangely didn't materialise. Amongst all this H2 seems to have gone well but the market appears to have (perhaps unsurprisingly) lost some faith.

I've bought a few more - they look very cheap on the basis of transformation and forecasts.

By the way I expect that the deals done today were purchases at 86p. The shares were marked up at the off so I wonder if this is the beginning of some sort of recovery !!

Its the OXMAN you are quite right the market is at present unwilling to believe. I have dipped my toe back in for what its worth. If the figure were real and they don't need cash then the market cap is too low all IMHO of course

Current chart and share price says everything, the co and it's financial performance has been a basket case in the past, hopefully improving now on what it seems could become an interesting growth story, but clearly the market has heard it all before and is unwilling to believe. Needs some hard numbers , free cash flow , and a strong outlook message demonstrating significant profitable contracts are being won.

Some good analysis on REDS yesterday from Graham Neary

This BB is clearly poisonous and haunted by Chimpers and his ghouls, dragging the chains of his losses from a badly timed position in REDS. If he was any good he'd be able to see the objective asymmetric risk profile in this as a trade. Too wounded and emotional to be objective.
I'll come back and rattle your cage Chimpers when Braund has done his stuff: you'll still be here all twisted and bitter trying to shout it down convincing yourself you are right.
