03/11/2011 19:39 | Forecast eps growth for next 2 years appears to only be 6 percent each year. That is massive slowing if true. | stegrego
03/11/2011 14:48 | Seymour Pierce have reiterated their 15p price target today, but I'm not sure what the time period for that is | davydoo
03/11/2011 12:12 | I don't see growth slowing at all Norbert, they've covered the startup of two new businesses in this period, Green24 is yet to prove itself, but I hope they persevere if the cost base is low, and food safety which has the possibility to generate huge revenue. I recall joining Sainsburys at 17 only as a part time student, but I was put through all manner of food safety and coshh courses. There are many providers of these courses as you can see from previous links I have posted, but what a USP to say that the food safety and recall experts provided by your insurer offer their own courses, who are you going to choose then? | davydoo
03/11/2011 12:07 | Buying at 11p on PLUS which is good to see, as I was able to buy a few for 10.2p yesterday. ShareSpeculator are you able to take a small gain on your results trade? Or are you going to hold on for the div and future prospects? | davydoo
03/11/2011 09:22 | Excellent results, and such a good, growing yield on a micro cap growth company. With the ramp up in food safety and food training revenues to come in the 2nd half, turnover will certainly be over £6m and profitability likely to be approaching £1m if the Rand stays weak. Green24 will either be contributing or will be cut, but either way the start up costs have been covered in results now. As the cash represents almost a third of the market cap, strip that out and you have a business on a p/e of 4. Great value here at 10.5p | davydoo
03/11/2011 09:10 | Is it me or do a get a feeling that growth is slowing? Anyone have a feel for EPS for full year (1.5-1.7p?) Divi hike very nice though. I'm not going anywhere so a strong hold. Nobby | norbert colon
03/11/2011 07:35 | Results out, 33% increase in the dividend. Wow! | integer
01/11/2011 12:35 | I think you're right that they have an opportunity to do well on the back of results, but with current whipsaw markets it might just depend on whether its a good or bad day that they release. However, as you say its all out there about the trading statement good prospects etc. so I can understand people selling. Norbert has identified and been following one of the most significant factors. | davydoo
01/11/2011 11:57 | USD/ZAR now up to 8.12 I will be really interested to see what they have to say about the huge exchange rate fluctuation of the last few months when their results come out. | norbert colon
31/10/2011 20:12 | Sorry for the late reply. I've bought them as a results play. Their interims are due shortly. Their forcasts aren't bad and make them look cheap imo. I liked their trading statement. Very bullish. Ahead of forcasts and an excellent forward looking statement. All very positive. It'd be nice if they'd anounce a date for their interims but I suspect they'll come out of the blue. I think they'd do better in the run up to the results if they set a date. I would expect people to buy them on the run up to their results and on the day they're anounced. However, I was a little disapointed to see lots of sells going through last Friday. I can't understand why people would sell so near to what promises to be a good set of results. It takes all sorts I suppose. I'll see how it goes and hopefully I can hang on to them. | sharespeculator
26/10/2011 09:51 | ShareSpeculator, what makes them a punt for you? | davydoo
25/10/2011 22:55 | Got a few of these, not many, but they're looking nice for a punt imo www.sharespeculator. | sharespeculator
25/10/2011 11:28 | Norbert thanks for bringing ISL to my attention on the Zulu board, just my cup of tea, will do some more research. REDT interims due within 2 weeks now, more significant for REDT as unusually it will include confirmation of entire years dividend, im expecting at least 0.3p | davydoo
20/10/2011 17:12 | Thanks Davydoo. I now have 9% of my portfolio in REDT and 18% in CLTV (much higher than i would like) so I am with you on that one. Have also done really well with both NGR and NBI and have recently taken a position in SWP which I have traded (not my normal style) before and think there is some real potential there. I will keep an eye on STV and hopefully find a good entry point. Best regards Nobby | norbert colon
18/10/2011 21:52 | Norbert take a look at crawfords posts re STVG, he's far and away the best poster on that board, I still hold a few but it's not one I'm actively following. I agree continued debt reduction is key which they seem to be doing well, even to the extent of forecasting a div soon, which I'd prefer they didn't do, but some might want. ITV litigation is cleared too. My focus right now is CLTV, REDT and AVAP, im expecting a lot from these three, and they can deliver independent of the wider market shenanigans. Edit. Pleased to see KIO doing well too, hopefully you're already in profit there. If it can get through that £1 barrier it could really breakout | davydoo
15/10/2011 18:57 | Davydoo I note you have an interest in STV and I have be mulling this one over since April. Would you mind sharing your current investment rationale with me? They seem to be moving in the right direction although a heap of debt. share price moving south continually with no obvious support until circa 40p. Thoughts? Wrong board I realise so perhaps you can drop me a note on the STVG board. Cheers Nobby | norbert colon
11/10/2011 13:07 | New site launched today Recall.red24.com | davydoo
06/10/2011 23:30 | Some interesting analysis from geswan on the ZULU thread about REDT. Probably deeper than a lot we've seen here, so I would recommend taking a look. I have responded to his points on the ZULU thread, which you may also be interested in, and I would encorage any other comments that anyone can add. | davydoo
06/10/2011 10:26 | Not sure if anyone follows the Zulu principle, by Jim Slater when picking stocks, but REDT is increasingly hitting more of the criteria of a zulu stock and could attract a wider audience soon. I mentioned REDT on the ZULU board this morning, there's some very good posters on that board, and I will be interested to see any feedback they might give. | davydoo
30/9/2011 17:52 | I tried to buy another 25k today at the full ask of 10p. Couldnt get them, but the price still went up. | davydoo
27/9/2011 08:45 | Micro cap with growth prospects. Am familiar with some of REDT's products. The currency exchange issue seems to be in their favour atm at well. Had a bit of loose change so picked up a few. | owenski
26/9/2011 18:46 | With current markets it was good to see a strong buy of 107,100 at 10.5p today Thats a great chart Norbert, especially when you look at the dramatic change on the five year view. Wiganer, if youre around it might be worth posting in the header, due to the significance to REDT or this one; as it shows GBPZAR too | davydoo
22/9/2011 17:11 | sorry to be a real nerd about this but please everyone check out the chart for USD/ZAR - we are now up to 8.3 which is circa 25% higher then when their June results were released. If this keeps going we should be on for a bumper set of results once this filter though their books. Nobby 2 Stiles | norbert colon
22/9/2011 10:21 | More details about food safety courses; https://www.rsph.org Appears they are making it part of the Red 24 brand/offering as opposed to something new. | davydoo |
