15/7/2011 11:56 | Still researching REDT. Growth prospects from broker targets seem pretty lame at circa 6.5% for this year and next year hence maybe why current P/E of around 8. If anyone has any thoughts on growth prospects I would be pleased to hear them as all other metrics seems very strong and I like the story. Also it would appear that REDT don't have much competition out there but again would be interested to hear to the contrary. Cheers Nobby | norbert colon
24/6/2011 13:51 | Nobby, For the warrants, perhaps have a look at the latest annual report:- The warrants have been fully exercised, per note 20. There are some options in existence to incentive staff, see note 8. Updated broker target is 15p. Some might say a tad conservative. | integer
24/6/2011 13:02 | Davydoo et al Any ideas on REDT competitors? Currently looking for entry point as all normal value metrics look very strong. P/E of around 8 based on projected earnings for this fiscal year so still good value at 13p imho. Still trying to understand potential effect of warrants. Comments welcome please. 10/6/2011 21:37 | Gosgos, I have a much smaller holding now, but very pleased to see the company progressing so well. | davydoo

10/6/2011 10:00 | You must be pleased with this DD! | gosgos
10/6/2011 08:09 | Eps of 1.51 ahead of 1.4 expected. Hopefully current years forecasts have scope to rise to at least 1.8p. Looks like 15p + is well achievable here med term. Edit: - and 20p one to two years out? | penpont
13/5/2011 11:08 | Among the benefits, some insurers offer emergency political evacuation on top of medical emergency evacuation (or in some cases repatriation, which gets the patient home, as opposed to a centre of medical excellence.) Three years ago, UK-based InterGlobal contracted security company red24 for that purpose. It was far-sighted, because this year, red24 has helped extract policyholders from Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Japan (cover includes natural disasters such as a tsunami). | unionhall
04/5/2011 16:39 | I sold about half of my holding here at lunchtime today, but may get back in at a later point. I'll still closely monitor the company, but for now i think there are better opportunities out there. | b3842517
15/4/2011 22:44 | Thanks Saucepan. I completly agree about culling even good holdings if you have better prospects. With no news from REDT likely until June, I took my money into DWN and ARGO which both have major events due in the next month. DWN interim figures and possible bid, and ARGO possible conclusion of outstanding litigation. CUP is a bit racy for me, but I like the look of TNO. | davydoo
15/4/2011 14:39 | Thanks for the interesting comments, davydoo and I agree with them. In my case, it was simply a case of seeing another opportunity and I just felt that REDT was the least strong hold in my portfolio on the basis of likely price movement over the coming weeks - so it had to make way. I went long on TNO on selling my first tranche of REDT on the day of the RNS and have so far made almost 20%, so that proved to be a good switch. Of course, I don't always get trades that right, but perhaps it underlines the point that one should not get too attached to stocks and let sentiment get in the way of moving on. The tranche I sold this morning went to add to my position in CUP. I am very excited about that prospect and have elaborated as to why on the CUP thread. | saucepan
15/4/2011 10:27 | Interesting to see your actions steg and saucepan, I havent sold out, but have reduced to a third of my former position, partly to take some good gains and rebalance a little but also as good news is already priced in now. I will keep hold and would happily add on weakness. I still think the long term is good, while this year may have seen a lot of incidents, if they can use it to leverage greater sales in future, particularly to insurance companies then the future should be strong and hopefully with more secure revenue | davydoo
15/4/2011 10:19 | I am out for now, too. I must admit I thought that numbers would be more than "in line". Will keep on my watchlist. | saucepan
14/4/2011 08:10 | After buying these on a results RNS at 4p, without even hearing of them, i took profits yesterday at 12p. I thought they may have done better than just ok with all the stuff going off at the moment. Im glad to leave some for the next man. Good luck to holders. | stegrego
