Excellent news for those who stayed with Jupiter Mines ASX:JMS. Manganese jumps in price sending Jupiter shares up 75% in a matter of weeks from 18c to 31.5c.

The move to include AI in upgrading manganese added icing to the cake.

It just shows how mining shares can suddenly take off. Despite all the doubts over DRC, my thoughts that Arbitrations take an average of 3 years and 2 months to conclude is coming to pass. Whatever form an Arbitration takes it treads water every time. So don't close the book on this one just yet.

As to Burkina Faso, it's a matter of batting around the illegal miners and hoping for the best.

So not a matter of a glass half full or not having any water in it. The glass is missing for the time being as patience is stretched. However, there will be a scramble for glasses at some stage.

During this visit two brand new artisanal sites got underway!

It was unfortunately not possible to inspect any samples [but] I was able to look at an
airborne survey from 13 years ago and identified and confirmed six exploration targets.

Targets confirmed!

CEO Andrew Bell comments: "Great progress has been made. We have been working and will
continue to work, day and night, 7 days a week, on this project"

So without an 8th day of the week the rest of RRRs ragbag projects will gather dust...
Buying out those Australian outback tenement liabilities is looking more questionable.

Smuts saw everything He had been paid to look at in Burkina Faso, and behold,
it was very good and He validated it completely.

Do not for one second think Smuts was always going to say it was good, he is
beyond reproach and, provided he is paid, only says what he truly believes.

Smuts also said ALR lithium was good but he is allowed a miss now and again.
With 2 consultancy gigs already he has hit pay dirt here. In Smuts we trust.

I haven't yet worked out the exact number of free shares given to directors of Red Rock under the incentive scheme. It shows, in my opinion, that this has not worked as far as the share price is concerned.

Observations that Red Rock will see the Burkina Faso gold interest go ahead despite
illegal miners.
Burkina Faso owns 15% plus 100% rights to royalties. The latest non-RNS does appear
to show little progress has been made in removing illegal miners other than in small
areas where drilling will take place.

As Auntie Ettie has said check the RNSs for information about the company. In other words,
always do your research.


I have all the information in my archive for when needed. This excludes all past investments
that are now sold or came to very little or nothing. #kemche is an expert on this when
wearing the right hat. Two other threads are covering DRC and Kenya.

The ADVFN financials market cap was £1.43 million when I posted.
Just checked and can see that is outdated, with the shares in issue also not up to date.

Surely this is a steal now, so highly likely they will purchase big now. Independent report confirms significant resource, drilling just weeks away with site camp set-up next week.DRC president return from France tomorrow, so vote could come soon after. Thinks moving swiftly now it seems!

The share price is at its lowest since 2006 which signals no faith in the ability of Red Rock Resources to achieve anything of significance. If this is not true the Directors would be big buyers of Red Rock shares. If CEO Andrew Bell and fellow Directors bought another 500 million shares in the company these words would be retracted. The market says, "NO CHANCE".

"At the Tampoa site however things have moved up a notch where an illegal miner brought in mechanised equipment and a large team of people - this kind of operation is not allowed under local mining law and WILL do significant damage to the legal permit holder! Shocking!

"Clearly Company has to continuously enforce a real stoppage of this illegal operation!" Clearly!


Sheesh! Ettie is just taking the P now.

"It is further my opinion that this permit can, if subjected to an appropriate exploration program, realize a significant Resource and Reserve in excess of 1 Moz over the next two years."

Burkina Faso Halts Export Of Gold From Artisanal Mining

The decision came into effect on Tuesday said minister Yacouba Zabre Gouba with the junta-led government looking "to clean up the sector and ... to better organise the commercialisation of gold and other precious minerals".

Last November, the government launched construction of the country's first refinery for gold, with a planned annual production capacity of 150 tonnes of 99.99 percent pure gold -- or about 400 kilos a day.
