13/7/2008 08:55 | I'm becoming a longer term investor due to pressure of other committments and I can understand your approach. On technical grounds I wouldn't have bought RB. though. I bought MKS and LLOY instead! | indieman
10/7/2008 23:20 | That's OK Indieman - if it falls I'll add more. I have a goal of trying to add to my existing share holdings if I can buy a few % cheaper then my lowest purchase. All my holdings now are long term holdings so whether they rise or fall in the medium term doesn't worry me especially if divies are maintained ( for cashflow purposes ). | liarspoker
10/7/2008 23:05 | Liars, That's a brave move. It's by no means a one-way bet and any medium term downmove could be substantial. | indieman
10/7/2008 16:54 | Very quiet thread here. Been watching this one for some time and bought an initial 250 odd today hoping to add more if it falls lower. I like the internal returns, brands and health sector expansion etc etc. One for the long term. | liarspoker
26/1/2008 11:31 | Reckitt Benckiser "buy," target price raised Thursday, January 17, 2008 2:33:42 AM ET ING Financial Markets LONDON, January 17 (newratings.com) - Analysts at ING Financial Markets maintain their "buy" rating on Reckitt Benckiser Group (ticker: RB-GBX), while raising their estimates for the company. The target price has been raised from 3,200p to 3,250p. In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the current valuation of the company's stock reflects rising raw material and packaging development costs and tough 1H08 comps. Reckitt Benckiser has not overpaid for the Adams acquisition, according to the analysts. The EPS estimates for FY08 and FY09 have been raised from 139.8p to 141.4p and from 151.8p to 155.1p, respectively, reflecting the Adams acquisition and weakness in the sterling. | batman9

14/1/2008 14:44 | However, it's worth noting that the recent rapid drop has caused the 200day EMA to top out. That's the first time since early 2003 and isn't likely to be good news. | indieman
13/1/2008 20:20 | It's not a share that young guns follow, so little is said by the sort of people who usually frequent ADVFN. | indieman
11/1/2008 15:30 | How come there's so little activity on this thread? Reckitt is ultra solid and why has it tanked recently? | d s patterson
