02/2/2005 15:44 | Just sold 1500 Mar calls, might be to soon as the 1605 level as broken. RB has been trying for a while now. Liked the profit to much to let it go, could be a good time for a short term put. It happen to me yesterday sold AAL before close and then watched it go up 41pts this morning. I love this game, good luck all. | martinlewisdavey

28/1/2005 08:39 | This is classic, everybody comes out on all the financial sites this morning saying that all other consumer products companies will struggle after the PG/Gillete merger and all of them are up 5%. Experts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I presume this is hot air based on the need (more like the hope) of this generating more mergers between the remaining players. | aposto

In the third quarter, Reckitt reported net income of 151 mln stg, beating CSFB's forecast of 132 mln. Dealers said the market is pleased that Reckitt has dispelled recent negative stories regarding input costs (following profit warnings in the sector). 16/9/2004 09:58 | A4 Surprising how little RB moved up in this rally -it couldn't close above 1480 and now its moving down. Results are due in October. The share buybacks continue - in blocks of 150,000 which is less than the 200,000-300,000 blocks a few months ago.Worth noting that directors sold shares a few weeks ago. Who knows - perhaps the recent share weakness is nothing but perhaps RB is going to disappoint - on its high PE even a slight probelm will send RB down. | brain smiley |
