07/7/2004 14:35 | LOL.... You cheeky git... I'm not hiding, I posted my trades and stand by them. I'm in profit after averaging at 15.74 (as I said I would do !) And this time I will stop at breakeven, which is 15.43 average, in case you're wondering !! Ok RB. let's be having you, price below 1475 would be nice. | kaffee

30/6/2004 11:27 | broker news today.. * UBS reiterates its neutral stance on Reckitt Benckiser while raising its target price to £15.50 from £15. | brain smiley
29/6/2004 22:04 | none , cash is either in the company or in share holders pockets, mkt might veiw it as lacking imagination anyway. | taximania
29/6/2004 21:32 | if a special dividend was to be paid, how much upside is there if any. | a4
29/6/2004 20:20 | They are buying back shares at any price , madness , but if you have an order from them to buy at mrkt price what you gonna do - accumulate as many as you can wherever you can and then sell them for more i guess. I make it they are about 65% in to the total buy back for the year ...what will happen when they stop buying ...only one way for it to go ..eventually. | taximania
29/6/2004 19:27 | A4 On a forward PE of 20 - RB has no room for error. Looks a clear short only to be spoiled by a special dividend or a deal. We shall see. | brain smiley
29/6/2004 19:24 | heres hoping. | a4
29/6/2004 19:16 | A4 Below is profit forecast for RB. taken from their own website.I presume ABN Amro is the house broker. So these results should be pretty optimistic. Has to be said, that on 2005 estimates with EPS of 81.5,RB. is looking very expensive on a PE of 20.I can't believe that the oncoming results will produce upgrades to bring this down significantly.RB looks a clear short from here - unless RB. has a earnings enhancing deal lined up or is going to return cash via a special dividend.Odds must favour a short. 2004 ESTIMATES 2005 ESTIMATES Broker Date Rec Pretax Eps Pretax Eps ABN AMRO 14-May-04 732m 73.3p 831m 81.5p | brain smiley

29/6/2004 18:43 | catn is i think suggesting yld is going up. | moregas
29/6/2004 18:26 | at current prices its not worth holding for the dividend. pe of 22+ and yeild of around 1.8. unlikely they will pay a one off special divided, more likely to buy company or product.getting more and more expensive and grossly overvalued.they are returning cash to shareholders in the form of buying their shares at this inflated price, i would of thought. | a4
29/6/2004 16:58 | The key is to buy the dips crazy but true Overvalued yes but this thing has a cash pile of over 1 billion what will happen if they announce a cash return to shareholders as a special dividend with their results . There`s pressure on the company to utilise the cash assets either by acquisition or a return to shareholders being another alternative. | captain.
29/6/2004 12:58 | defying logic. very expensive, highly rated stock. still short, hopefully pull back to around £15. | a4
29/6/2004 12:39 | 1590 now...clearly good news is coming in the next results. Question is - is the good news in the price and get a 50 to 60p pull back or more upgrades and a continued price rise. Notice RB. is still buying back it's shares at these levels.Thats bullish. | brain smiley
28/6/2004 14:00 | will have to beat sales and profit forecasts pretty aggressively for brokers to upgrade price targets. i think the good news is priced into brokers forecasts. has risen 60 + % from a low of about £9.40 last year. too high too fast. rsi overbought and has been going up in thin volumes. | a4
28/6/2004 10:22 | A4 Not sure what your trying to say...The brokers on RB. have price targets of between 1520-1600 and now the price is at these levels. Results are due in July and it could well be that RB. once again will beat sales and profit forecasts and lead to brokers upgrading their price targets again. Be careful. | brain smiley
27/6/2004 12:40 | P&G split their stock. | onlyme
27/6/2004 12:09 | Anyone tell me if procter and gambles share price has collapsed?. Last fridays close it was trading at around $54.75, about 1 month ago it was over $100 according to a chart ihave just seen. | a4
26/6/2004 22:02 | Couldn;t agree more A4.... Have a look at EMG chart over the last 12 months, that would have been a cracker at £18... and I let it drop off my radar !! Boo hoo :-( RB is about 75 points above its 50 day ma. It simply has to give some of that up... and I'm banking on it being soon. Will average on Monday above 1570 | kaffee
25/6/2004 17:10 | brain smiley, Deutsche bank are bullish and have a price target of £15.75p if i'm correct, it's already there. Companies like RBS have price targets of £20, £22+, AZN have price targets high as £32+. It doesn't mean it's going to get there. I think Reckitt share price is grossly overvalued. What goes up must come down. | a4 |
