OPEC+ Will Be Unwilling And Unable To Stop The Oil Price Rally - OilPrice.com

* Goldman Sachs claims that oil has entered a structural bull market, reaffirming their $90 oil prediction

* Oil inventories are seeing their largest daily drawdowns ever, and the growing global natural gas shortage will only increase demand for oil

* OPEC+ will ultimately be unwilling and unable to counter soaring oil prices

I think that the idea of west newton drilling was to prove up the above, no success at the moment though.

Market cap of £17 million with £5 million in the Bank. Absolutely extraordinary. Are people forgetting even if it proves getting the oil out of west Newton is a problem, what about the huge amounts of gas down there? And the other assets. Never seen anything like it !

At market cap about £18m surely West Newton's gas/oil is priced in for failure now? If they can get the gas out there's going to be one hell of a bounce here..

I have posted a similar note, to the one below, on the moderated Union Jack thread but those able to answer my questions may be on this Reabold Resources thread instead.

Here goes...

My understanding from one of UJO's most recent RNSs is that 480,000 cubic feet of gas per day is equivalent to 80 barrels of oil per day.

For now, ignoring any oil that might or might not be present at West Newton, the prospect's gas reserves are estimated at between:

Base Case:
211.5 bcf of gas initially in-place (GIIF)

Upside Case:
Gas: 265.9 bcf GIIP

I have read how recoverable oil (using primary and secondary techniques) as a percentage of oil in place can vary.

Does anyone on this thread know what percentage of the gas at West Newton might be recovered eventually?

This information will put us on the path of determining what the value of West Newton's gas might be.

Obviously, I am most interested in what Reabold's 56% of West Newton's gas might be worth.

I look forward to hearing from others.

Its unbelievable that S&S cannot support the share price in this high price back drop. Beggars belief! I'm certain there are still a lot of positives to come from WN, despite maybe being less positive than first expected. There is still the gas and maybe oil (albeit Rathlin do not have the skill to exploit it, or so it appears). And then there is the Victory gas and Cali oil. Sigh. Incompetent, out of their depth. I don't know how best to describe them. Since they have very little O&G experience its very hard to see what they add here. It'd be great if they were replaced.

Given the current price of both gas and oil, the slightest whiff of success will send the share price crashing through the roof.
