Yes. Seems they've only bought the minimum from Invesco that keeps their holding below 30%

.... Following the 31 May 2019 tender offer and the cancellation of the ordinary shares proposed to be acquired from funds managed by WIM and the minimum number of ordinary shares to be acquired from IAML, on a pro forma basis using current exchange rates, the net asset value per share will increase by a further 10.8% to 72 pence per share.....

Apparently Woodford has dumped millions of RAVC at 95p (ish) and Singers have placed the lot at a profit!
Missed out when I tried to buy at 97p.

I have been picking up a few of these, I see them now as better value relative to the prefs and cb especially with the buyback

Presumably there are 17 million shares (or the balance of) about. Ie the Investec shares that they have the option to sell at 36p but not the obligation.
The shares appear well bid, but that could be to encourage a purchase !

Thanks for the explanation erstwhile.
Having recently visited Russia, I was surprised how perky the economy appeared.

That's the one thing that bothers me - there's no mention of how it will be funded. We know the business throws off cash, but if they do have enough in the bank, why not say so in the announcement?

Annoying to lose such a great founder investor and long term backer. But Woodford needs the cash so good opportunity to buy back which will be great for NAV per share of the remaining holders.Looks like Invesco have to sell some too, to avoid going over 30%.

Looks like I was wrong above, though I am surprised that a 10% move on the Rouble has such an effect on the NAV (though part due to dividend buy back).
Do we know how Raven is financing this buy back ? Do they already have sufficient cash, or will they borrow £s or Roubles and what interest rate will they be charged ?
Very positive over all, subject to borrowing charges not being punitive.

Woodford selling to them at 36 , I guess they are paying the full price as they are mates, they should have bid him 20p

Erstwhile, Arent the warehouses worth less? non cash but they will reduce carrying value if the value of their assets drops.
All that stuff will be in the glossy report. Cant be bothered to read it myself but i cant think stuff like that wouldnt be there.

Cant see how you have worked that out erstwhile. From what I can see Rub.£ exchange rate has hardly moved....85 to 82 so nor will NAV.
