03/11/2020 10:08 | From the Company. RNS 7 November 2019. I expect they'll give the 2021 timetable shortly. | igbertsponk
03/11/2020 10:05 | but, where did you get that information? | zangdook
03/11/2020 09:58 | All the dates are detailed on the other RAVP board | igbertsponk
03/11/2020 09:57 | Where did you get that? I have 12 Nov but I don't recall where I got it, so it may be wrong. They seem to announce the ex-date by RNS a week beforehand. Edit - the 12th is too early for their 42-day rule, but in February the ex-date was the 13 and record date 14, which also breaks the rule. Well, only a few days to find out. | zangdook
03/11/2020 09:52 | Next XD should be 19 Nov The range is almost always, the later Thursday, between 14th and 21st of month. | eeza
03/11/2020 09:46 | Here you go, it's in Article 2.3.1. It doesn't say where they specify the ex-date, just that the record date won't be more than 42 days prior to payment. The holders of the Preference Shares shall be entitled to be paid, subject to the provisions of the Law, a fixed cumulative preferential dividend in priority to any payment of dividend to the holders of any class of shares other than Convertible Preference Shares at the rate of 12% per annum of the Fixed Amount (the “12% Preference Dividend”), such dividend to accrue on a daily basis from and including the date of issue of such Preference Shares and to be payable in equal instalments quarterly in arrears on 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December (or in the event of any such date not being a business day on the next day which is a business day) (each such date being referred to as a “dividend payment date”). Payment of the 12% Preference Dividend shall be made to holders of Preference Shares on the register at any date selected by the board no earlier than 42 days prior to the relevant dividend payment date | zangdook
03/11/2020 09:39 | I don't have a link, but fwiw the ex- is around 12, 13, 14 of Feb, May, Aug, Nov and payment is the last day of the quarter; next one is ex- 12 Nov, pay 31 Dec. | zangdook
03/11/2020 09:24 | Guys is there a link with the date of payment dates and ex div, can't find one. | montyhedge
16/10/2020 10:01 | Just got into that bizarre situation where you could sell for more than you could buy for and so took advantage with a couple of 15K trades. | gary1966
15/10/2020 09:37 | I don't know if pogue and Kenny have any history, but based purely on their recent exchange about interest rates, I first noticed rudeness in Kenny's post 717. "Do some research"..."your views are meaningless". That's not very polite, when all pogue did was point out the intention behind negative interest rates. | zangdook
15/10/2020 08:47 | tradertrev not that you will read this but others will thanks I have always encourage people to filter me if they cannot reply to me, saves me time having to reply to them, please others do the same makes my life simpler I am not on ADVFN to publicize myself or force my views on others I look to have a sensible conversation with people who can discuss civilly so that I can learn and so can they. Filter away people more the merrier. | pogue
15/10/2020 08:43 | pogue filtered, kenny not. | tradertrev
15/10/2020 08:23 | Pogue, With all due respect, Kenny has but didn’t need to respond to you on inflation as his original posts were very clear. We all know that the intention of negative interest rates is to create inflation, nobody is arguing that point. However a substantial amount of recent history shows that in the real, rather than the economic theory, world that it doesn’t result in higher inflation. Kenny has backed this up with articles etc but the reality is they weren’t needed as we have all seen it for ourselves over the last 30 years with Japan and more recently with the US and Europe. Just agree to differ and make your investment decisions on what you think is going to happen and likewise let Kenny make his. You have definitely been attacking the man and are ignoring the answers you are being given. Now can we move on and get this back to a civil BB as life is too short and that really should be appreciated in these current times. Kind regards | gary1966
15/10/2020 07:58 | pogue13 Oct '20 - 20:30 - 721 of 728 “You always try to play the man not the argument trying to belittle their opinion because they are not your own, you are so predictable and it is usually the sign of a weak argument to resort to those tactics.” | kenny
15/10/2020 07:28 | Kenny you are not going to reply to me on inflation but yet you keep going on about it. You are such a child. | pogue
15/10/2020 00:42 | According to this recent article, the FED no longer has the ability to create inflation. Indeed, since the FED has been printing money “…Flexi The FED's situation seems to match the current experience of other central banks, like the EU and Japan. I guess it would be bizarre, if one central bank had a different outcome in their economy to others, when using the same policies. | kenny |
