Pref divi dates confirmed for December and all of 2021. I've updated the header for 2021.

Preference Share Dividend (RAVP)

The Directors of the Company confirm that the quarterly payment of the preference dividend in respect of the preference shares of 1p each with ticker RAVP (the "Preference Shares") will be made, in accordance with their terms, on 31 December 2020 in respect of the period from 30 September 2020 to (but excluding) 31 December 2020. The record date for the payment of the preference dividend for the Preference Shares is 13 November 2020 with an ex-dividend date of 12 November 2020.

The Preference Shares will be entitled to a gross dividend of 3 pence per Preference Share.

A scrip dividend alternative (to be settled in Preference Shares) will also be available for all preference shareholders in respect of the preference dividend.

The scrip dividend circular will be available on the Investor section of the Company's website ( www.theravenpropertygroup.com ) , and will also be available for viewing on the national storage mechanism ( hxxps://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism ). Letters notifying the holders of Preference Shares of the presence of the scrip dividend circular on the Company's website and how to access it will be sent on or around 19 November 2020. The last date for receipt of completed forms of election (in accordance with the terms thereof) will be 4 December 2020.

The Directors of the Company also confirm the 2021 preference dividend timetable as outlined below:

From the Company. RNS 7 November 2019. I expect they'll give the 2021 timetable shortly.

Where did you get that? I have 12 Nov but I don't recall where I got it, so it may be wrong. They seem to announce the ex-date by RNS a week beforehand.

Edit - the 12th is too early for their 42-day rule, but in February the ex-date was the 13 and record date 14, which also breaks the rule. Well, only a few days to find out.

Next XD should be 19 Nov

The range is almost always, the later Thursday, between 14th and 21st of month.

Here you go, it's in Article 2.3.1. It doesn't say where they specify the ex-date, just that the record date won't be more than 42 days prior to payment.

The holders of the Preference Shares shall be entitled to be paid,
subject to the provisions of the Law, a fixed cumulative preferential
dividend in priority to any payment of dividend to the holders of any
class of shares other than Convertible Preference Shares at the rate of
12% per annum of the Fixed Amount (the “12% Preference
Dividend”), such dividend to accrue on a daily basis from and
including the date of issue of such Preference Shares and to be payable
in equal instalments quarterly in arrears on 31 March, 30 June,
30 September and 31 December (or in the event of any such date not
being a business day on the next day which is a business day) (each
such date being referred to as a “dividend payment date”).
Payment of the 12% Preference Dividend shall be made to holders of
Preference Shares on the register at any date selected by the board no
earlier than 42 days prior to the relevant dividend payment date

Just got into that bizarre situation where you could sell for more than you could buy for and so took advantage with a couple of 15K trades.

I don't know if pogue and Kenny have any history, but based purely on their recent exchange about interest rates, I first noticed rudeness in Kenny's post 717. "Do some research"..."your views are meaningless". That's not very polite, when all pogue did was point out the intention behind negative interest rates.

Filter away people more the merrier.

Pogue,

With all due respect, Kenny has but didn’t need to respond to you on inflation as his original posts were very clear. We all know that the intention of negative interest rates is to create inflation, nobody is arguing that point. However a substantial amount of recent history shows that in the real, rather than the economic theory, world that it doesn’t result in higher inflation. Kenny has backed this up with articles etc but the reality is they weren’t needed as we have all seen it for ourselves over the last 30 years with Japan and more recently with the US and Europe.

Just agree to differ and make your investment decisions on what you think is going to happen and likewise let Kenny make his. You have definitely been attacking the man and are ignoring the answers you are being given. Now can we move on and get this back to a civil BB as life is too short and that really should be appreciated in these current times.

Kind regards

“You always try to play the man not the argument trying to belittle their opinion because they are not your own, you are so predictable and it is usually the sign of a weak argument to resort to those tactics.”

According to this recent article, the FED no longer has the ability to create inflation. Indeed, since the FED has been printing money “…Flexible Core CPI has dipped below zero on nine occasions since the start of the data in 1967. Interestingly, eight of those periods of price deflation have occurred since 2000 when monetary policy in the U.S. has been its loosest in history.”

The FED's situation seems to match the current experience of other central banks, like the EU and Japan. I guess it would be bizarre, if one central bank had a different outcome in their economy to others, when using the same policies.
