17/3/2020 15:11 | Cheers monty good to know. I will put a cheeky buy order in at 80p | ![]() kickingking
17/3/2020 14:51 | I remember 2008 they were 75 always paid never missed a payment on the 12%. | ![]() montyhedge
17/3/2020 14:48 | Now let's get this right. Technically this should not fall below 100p and it just had. If they ever wanted to redeem it would have to be at a pound. I know it is cumulative and irredeemable. Now your buying a pound for 95p. | ![]() kickingking
17/3/2020 14:16 | I make that about a 12.6% yield right now... | ![]() cassini
16/3/2020 22:30 | Yes I have already got these from higher up. This is what I was saying potential upside is better with RDSB. Downside is that RAVP will probably not fall below a pound. | ![]() kickingking
16/3/2020 20:17 | kickingking, Probably RDSB up to your comfort limit, then RAVP if you feel like diversifying a bit. After all, RDSB would have been a bad choice if you had bought it before 2020 and didn't have any other irons in the fire... | ![]() cassini
16/3/2020 11:08 | deferring dividend is a useful start. all really down to rouble and whether Russia happy to carry on scorched earth policy. imagine they will need to seriously reconsider terms of buyback if it goes ahead at all. If it were an option i would consider dumping a large single asset sale around book so they could use cash to facilitate buyback of debt. Under no circumstances should equity be brought back. | ![]() horndean eagle
16/3/2020 10:03 | The thing now is do you buy and get 12% here with price gain in future, or do you go for RDSB with 11% divi but upside could be 100% | ![]() kickingking
16/3/2020 09:12 | Good results. Deal with Invesco delayed. Divi on ordinaries restricted. | ![]() deadly
12/3/2020 19:00 | Just depends on letting quality and ability of tenants to pay. | ![]() zipstuck
12/3/2020 17:06 | 11.6% yield | ![]() cassini
12/3/2020 13:05 | High yield ETF funds are forced sellers has investors panic. This could be the bargain of the last 5 years. | ![]() montyhedge
12/3/2020 11:57 | I first bought at 92p & it then dropped to 87p. | ![]() eeza
12/3/2020 11:57 | At times like these, its good to remember... | igbertsponk
12/3/2020 11:52 | 2008/9 it hit the low 90s. | simon gordon
12/3/2020 11:44 | That is 3 years worth of dividends wiped out in less then a month. This has to be a bargain now. | ![]() kickingking
12/3/2020 11:36 | Yield now over 11% and shares falling like a brick. Bank base rate now temporarily at 0.25% Where are RAVP going next - don`t ask me as I haven`t got a clue ! | ![]() tyranosaurus
11/3/2020 21:01 | Our balance sheet too continues to adapt to match our income profile. Secured debt today is 37% Rouble denominated and 52% Euro with two US Dollar denominated facilities remaining. We expect to refinance the last of those US Dollar facilities before the year end and there to be a continuing increase in Rouble weighting as we convert Euro debt. Should the Russian Central Bank continue to ease interest rates then that will accelerate the transition to Roubles. I think the deal needs renegotiating with invesco. Much harsher terms. They also need to immediately stop distributions to ords. They were paying out far too much rather than reducing debt burden. Asset sales at a decent level wouldn't go amiss either. | ![]() horndean eagle
11/3/2020 16:44 | Fortunately not PMO1 - yet!!!! | ![]() zipstuck
11/3/2020 15:09 | Raven Debt denomination in 2019 presentation was 11% in USD,52% in EUR and rest RUB | ![]() davebowler
11/3/2020 08:12 | When you have to sell, you have to take any price. | ![]() montyhedge
09/3/2020 20:06 | I don't know the placing level, I was just repeating what I had read on the board, so you are probably correct. But the bid is now beneath, and offer a fraction below. | ![]() eeza
09/3/2020 19:30 | eeza, I believe the shares were placed at 114p. | ![]() gary1966
09/3/2020 16:49 | 120p. We've passed it. | ![]() eeza
09/3/2020 16:26 | All Raven quotes are down Ords , Cv Pf ( offered at 97.5p ) and I paid 113.8p for 2000 RAVP 20 mins ago . However much bigger falls in BEE and JPM Russia . Can anyone remember the placing price of the large Blocks from Barnett and Woodford ? It feels as though we are approaching those levels . | ![]() bench2 |
