28/1/2014 23:55 | "Throughout the 2013 fiscal year, the underground development crews were focused on capital development into the 1807 ore body allowing for sustained production from this area. With much of this development in place by the beginning of the 2014 fiscal year, our focus was turned to exploration, and the resource and reserve estimates." So since beginning of October a year of additional mine life has been identified? | ned
28/1/2014 17:48 | Some decent trades going through. Late trade popped up on my monitor from yesterday; ~£130k at full ask. looking at the time, this was less than 30 seconds before £150k trade went through at the same price. | tradingcoder
28/1/2014 08:57 | From Proactive Investor: Rambler Metals & Mining shares rise as it extends Ming's mine-life By Ian Lyall January 27 2014, 11:31am Not only has this allowed the company to replace all the tonnes mined from the 1807 zone to date, it added a year to the mine's life. Shares in Rambler Metals (LON:RMM, CVE:RAB) rose in morning trade as it added to its reserve and resource base at Ming copper-gold mine in Newfoundland, Canada. Not only has this allowed the company to replace all the tonnes mined from the 1807 zone to date, it added a year to the mine's life. "The Ming feasibility study was based on a six-year life of mine, so a one year extension to this schedule is significant, while the potential to continue to extend and replace the reserves remains," said Asa Bridle of City firm Cantor Fitzgerald. Ming is estimated to contain a proven and probable 56.7mln pounds of copper, 101,404 ounces of gold and 459,788 ounces of silver. The work carried out by Rambler points to an updated resource of 697.7mln pounds of copper, 221,973 ounces of gold and 1.5mln ounces of silver in the measured and indicated category. All zones remain open to further exploration, the firm said. Chief executive Norman Williams said: "Replenishing the resources and reserves of the Ming Mine is a top priority for the operations exploration programme. "Throughout the 2013 fiscal year, the underground development crews were focused on capital development into the 1807 ore body allowing for sustained production from this area. With much of this development in place by the beginning of the 2014 fiscal year, our focus was turned to exploration, and the resource and reserve estimates." At 11.30am, the shares were up 2% at 32.5p, continuing the good run that has seen Rambler advance 20% in value in the last three months. Cantor Fitzgerald reckons the stock is worth up to 47p. Meanwhile, boutique resources firm share price Angel was guardedly optimistic on the AIM and TSX-listed firm's prospects. "The reserve and resource estimates are useful in lengthening the mine life of this high grade deposit," it said in a note to clients. "Till sufficient data is available to extend this, mine planning will remain short term. "The important thing is the management team continue to make money from this small asset | henryatkin
28/1/2014 08:34 | Everything is moving in the right direction and the company is seriously undervalued, so may top up again soon. | owenga
28/1/2014 08:28 | I was actually disappointed by the rns. Basically they spent a whole year drilling and only found enough resources to improve the mine life by one year. The rns was also confusing as it was comparing resources against 2010, the key difference being the increase in mineral content percentage. However, from recent quarterly updates we already new that. | owenga
28/1/2014 07:54 | Yes mine life is the big issue now so an important RNS. And once we are debt free it can all be put to good use. | count chris
27/1/2014 20:14 | Yep, that was good, indeed better than expected. All moving as planned, more a long term than short term/trading stock. | mandm10
27/1/2014 10:10 | Nobody wants to comment on todays announcement? "The reserve itself shows the replacement of all tonnes mined from the 1807 Zone to date, extending the mine life by one year. All zones remain open to further exploration. " This is good news. | snowydays
20/1/2014 22:22 | Yep that should be a positive RNS that's not too far off. Might even get me to my break even around 40p if I'm lucky! | count chris
20/1/2014 10:27 | Hopefully there will soon be an announcement that Rambler has repaid the Sprott loan and is debt free apart from the gold loan, which is more a royalty obligation than a debt now. Once that is repaid cash should build fairly quickly. | snowydays
20/1/2014 09:56 | Thanks Henry. I'll do that right now. Good move up today :). Have just sold the lot as looking a little over bought but will watch very closely. Fundamentals look great and will def buy back in the near future if I get the chance. Like COP too but that's still a little rich for me at the mo. | xamf
20/1/2014 09:42 | XAMF....if you like low forward PE & PEG take a look at CAML which also carries a 4% dividend and has 20 yrs of copper production. AMER is an oiler with similar growth or AMI which also has future potential if you want a bit more risk than AMER. | henryatkin
20/1/2014 08:56 | Certainly seeing some good buying today. | redhill
20/1/2014 08:29 | Yes, bid finally broken 30p. I think this share has finally broken out. Could well see strong gains this week. Hoping for a resource update before end of jan too. This share has a long way to go! IMHO | owenga

17/1/2014 13:16 | No I don't think you have.I think you have it spot on.Slow & steady progress is the order of the day. What's more this share can go in an ISA. | redhill
17/1/2014 12:21 | Forward PE and PEG are exceptional. Have added again today. Q1 update showed record Copper and increased precious metal output over prev quarters plus continued reduction in debt. No adverse news so far to suggest Q2 figures will be any less good. Have I misunderstood the situation here? | xamf
17/1/2014 10:49 | Would be great if we could break 30p. Seems to be a physiological glass ceiling. Could then see the start of a nice break out. | owenga
