28/8/2013 14:46 | 8p forward? That's the problem. Future earnings have been predicted to be good for a long time but Rambler never actually delivers. | snowydays
28/8/2013 14:24 | At 2p historic and 8p forward I'd still be happy, would still imply 60p on below average ratio of 7 or if you use more mainstream of 12 would equate to around the 90p mark which is where it probably deserves to be longterm. Each to their own, personally the time to bail for me would be if the ceo starts spewing drivel about 'exciting opportunities' | rhotoid
28/8/2013 14:17 | snowydays never fails to disappoint. | redhill
28/8/2013 13:59 | But eps will not come in at 8p. It will be about 2p. For the first six months eps was a pathetic 0.9c and just 0.1c for the third quarter. So just 1 cent for the first 9 months. The last quarter is a little better. Perhaps profit of a few million dollars or a couple of cents a share. If 2c in the final quarter then that makes 3c or 2p for the year. | snowydays
28/8/2013 13:47 | snowydays I do not consider them 'awful' at all, they are producing and selling and with the gold, silver (and lesserly copper) prices taking off my only concern is they focus on the operations they've got rather than the usual ceo bilge about buying other opportunities etc. If the eps comes in at around 8p then should be massive rerating upwards. | rhotoid
28/8/2013 13:10 | Yet another awful set of results from Rambler. Once again way below their forecasts. In the interactive investor presentation in May George Ogilvie predicted that for the quarter ended in July Rambler would produce 4,400,000lbs of copper (2,000 tonnes) now we see they have only managed 1,574 tonnes. He predicted 1,630 oz of gold but in fact they only managed 1,297oz. Rambler is ticking along and making a small profit but with the 1807 zone becoming exhausted things do not look good. If there is a rerating of the shares it will probably be downwards. | snowydays
28/8/2013 07:30 | Results are out, and they are good. | killing_time
19/8/2013 18:31 | It is unbelievable that just as they finally start to produce decent amounts of concentrate they decide to take the concentrator offline for maintenance. The gold production will probably be loss making when the effects of the gold loan repayments to Sandstorm are taken into account. This sort of thing seems to keep happening with Rambler. They never actually seem to come up with the goods. Just jam tomorrow. Not surprisingly the shareprice could not hold onto its early rise today. | snowydays
19/8/2013 14:26 | Nice find snowydays. I guess Maritime want to press on and start mining in the near future so that they can make some money but until Rambler build a new crushing and grinding circuit which will take 12 months from permiting so that they can run Ming at the same time, not alot is going to happen imo. End of August we would normally expect to see a shipment of concentrate but because we are currently mining gold i don't know how this will effect things. Good to see gold rising at this time also. 15/8/2013 22:12 | Glimpsed a headline that a large (the largest?) copper mine was closed for the day due to strike action. A bit more of that wouldn't hurt the copper price. | count chris
14/8/2013 11:29 | Yes, thank you snowydays. | rrr
14/8/2013 10:48 | Thanks snowydays, hadn't seen that one. | killing_time
13/8/2013 22:21 | Surprised no one posted this link yet. | snowydays
28/7/2013 13:56 | Well, the end of the financial year is approaching. Remember the video where Pete Mercer claimed Rambler would have $25m in free cash by the end of the year? We hoped it meant the end of 2012 calendar year as we all thought they would have much more than that by the end of the company year. m.bnn.ca/shows/commo But now it loos as if it might be nearer $2.5m for the year. A very disappointing year for Rambler shareholders. | snowydays
24/7/2013 12:54 | Interesting price moves in several small miners in the last few days. Could this be the start of the recovery? | snowydays

27/6/2013 11:41 | Rambler are in a good position at the moment - good cash position, generating cash and acquiring Krissy Buckle. An interview with CEO confirms this - | steve243
27/6/2013 08:20 | Looks pretty okay to me... So profitable Q3/13 profit was $193,000 versus prior loss in same period last year. Cash in bank increases. Cash resources as of 30 April 2013 were $3.5m and as of 27 June 2013 had increased to $6.0m Continued payments to Sprott. "Payment of CAD$500,000 was made to Sprott Resource Lending Partnership ('Sprott') in the reporting quarter with a subsequent payment of CAD$600,000 on 31 May 2013." looks like progress.Slowly slowly catchee monkey | fangorn2 |
