Working capital for the new project.
RBW was not brimming with cash.

Bit of discussion on Gakara in todays Rare Earth Observer:

Also, further down, a rather ambiguous comment on the Phalaborwa news:

Rainbow Rare Earths Completes Acquisition Of Phalaborwa

Rainbow Rare Earths Ltd - Burundi, East Africa-focussed rare earth element miner - Announces the initial completion of the transaction to acquire the Phalaborwa Rare Earths project. Initial consideration is USD250,000 with two additional tranches of equal amounts paid over the next year.

Comment: There are many other projects with the same concept out there.

Lynas Corp in Australia are the biggest non-Chinese producer. MP has recently been pumped in the US. Pensana (PRE) are interesting play, BFS due Jan and will have a UK processing facility operational late 2022. RBW will need a lot of cash to move forward, maybe the best bet for shareholders is if they get taken out by a bigger player.

Not one mention of BFS in most recent presentation which strikes me as odd. Surely they will require institutional funding for construction costs and realistically they won't get that until they produce a BFS (which takes time).

Getting closer to a buy back spot. 7.5p would be better.

Very interesting oap. I would hazard a guess that rbw will ne taken over at some point. The board own 29% of the shares which is very important to me as an investor. Low levels of radioactive waste make both projects very unique. Demand is going to increase significantly, supply is limited because these elements only appear in viable extraction quantities in a few places in the world. The dominance of China could lead to supply restrictions. I would expect a further fundraising in due course to allow for faster growth. The presentation is aimed at it's, I expect further stake building in near and mid terms. The south Africa project could be absolutely huge, not just for the rare part but also for the sale of clean gypsum. Very exciting times ahead.

Been out of REE for a while . I see mountain pass California brought the bankrupt mine back into production because of China’s strangle hold . China state subsidies to fund none profit making Chinese REE mines keeps the majority going . So to be correct we are possibly the only profit making self sufficient mine .
