This little company could be about to announce something a little bit special with drill results out most likely on Monday so 3 trading days. If they announce that the results indicate that they could have one if the largest REE deposits in the world this will multibag very quickly indeed. Could be a real biggy this one the production grade of 62 percent has the be the highest in the world

We really do need some drilling success - Arden's forecasts have gone from a PBT of $3.4m to a loss of $1.2m for FY2018 in the space of two months. They've essentially moved the project back one year financially.

from Arden the broker.. valuation of 19p for 2019 doesn't factor in any exploration success. Fingers crossed we really need some good drilling results!

• Rainbow Rare Earths have announced their 2018 FY Q3 results. RBW own and operate the high grade rare earth Gakara project in Burundi.
• RBW are on track to hit the targeted run-rate of 5,000tpa by December 2018.
• Ramp-up has been slower than expected and we have adjusted our numbers to adjust for this in 2018E and 2019E.
• RBW are conducting a drill program (Results due end of April 2018) to investigate the four gravity anomalies and the potential high-grade vein accumulation at Kiyenzi; identified in 2017.
• The large, shallow and highly prospective anomalies, which may be the source for Gakara’s rare earth veining show potential for longer term increased production well over the 6,000tpa targeted by the end of 2019.
• RBW achieved production at its Gakara asset in 2017, on time and on budget and are the only African producer of rare earths.
• Gakara is one of the highest grade rare earth element (REE) projects globally with very low operational costs; with a Life of Mine (LoM) operational margin of c.60%.
• Gakara is weighted towards the Rare Earth Elements (REEs) Neodymium (Nd) and Praseodymium (Pr) that are necessary in permanent magnets required by EVs, Hybrid vehicles and clean energy technologies.
• Rare earth demand is strong in the long-term with recent gains in prices since December 2017 on the back of increased demand and decreased supply from China.

Forecasts: Our forecasts are below and take into account current ramp-up of operations with a targeted run-rate of 5,000tpa by end of December 2018.

Valuation: BUY with a 2019 target price of 19p, using DCF valuation and a 1.1x NAVPS multiple and WACC of 10%. RBW has a 2018 P/NAV of 1.2x

If it's anything like VRS, also down sharply today, this could be Miton selling down to cover some quite large redemptions.

VRS is probably the bigger bargain short-term but I remain confident that management will sell the heck out of this prospect.

Rainbow, the high grade rare earth producer, notes press reports this morning concerning anticipated production from its Gakara Rare Earths Mine following a news conference held in Bujumbura, Burundi on 9 April 2018. The Company's production forecast remains unchanged at a run rate of 5,000 tonnes per year (approximately 400 tonnes per month) of rare earth concentrate by end of calendar year 2018.

Yeah Maccamcd thanks but I like to invest in companies that are on the verge of making money, one reason I got involved with this one despite trying to give up mining stocks.
