Who is S&D?

Can't see any bank endorsing anything until PwC is out.

All the cult members are saying QPP has the report already but aren't they required to RNS any price sensitive info immediately?

5bag, Use LCC transending. I send money to Brasil at least once a month and have used them for about 10 years. Only cost £3 per transaction no matter what size and you get the exact exchange rate (no tourist rates). I think they may be called moneyworld now. Take a look online, I have never had 1 problem with them.

Trend is your friend with fx. But we just dont know the effect of Greece. Bloomberg "experts" keep saying it is priced in but the risk of contagion must be a concern and markets dislike uncertainty. Its been a result of enforced dollar strangth more than euro weakness of late though, hence why I think we are near the top, but its a massive move on the rate in a very short term, so I would look at it as a big bonus rather than trying to catch the top.

One word of caution though. There is an elephant in the room with Greece. mostly factored n, but ts about 90% certain to leave the euro. It will destabilise markets even though they keep saying it wont. Could be good for the £, but its so hard to predict, being unprecedented.

I think we are near the top, you may get one or two more centimos if you wait until just before the summer. Use transferwise.com They match buyers with sellers, and will get you an extra cent

S & G didn't deny anything !!!

They confirmed (very lightly as a buyer would) that discussions and due diligence were under way....

Do you really think Quindosh issue RNS's completely off their own back without the input from advisers etc. The new Skippers are not the loose cannons we had previously...

S&G are grinning and bearing it, They are going to get a shed load of files at a very cheap price.

I am surprised the exchange is allowing QPP to continue making statements the other party is then refuting!

If I was S & G I would announce a withdrawal until such practices were stopped!

Up 20 - 30% yesterday on the hint of a possible deal...

Down only 2% today on the non confirmation of the same...

Something is definitely bubbling in the Quindell camp and time will tell...

Next 10 days or so will be very interesting....

Qpp are holding the same cards and playing the same game as Greece!

I changed my view some time ago, as you know. I think they will probably survive, its still not out of possibility they will go out, but i think they will survive, just no where near the current price.

Your tone is less and less bearish as time passes...

What happened to 0p / bust / administration / picked off by circling vultures ?

Same as Quindosh, they also said no offer had been made, just discussions...

The Aussie RNS just confirmed, as best a prospective buyer dare, that discussions are underway..

Do any bears play Poker ???

They are squeezing the life out of qpp, its obvious. They are watering the spin from the company and may have had a brief conversation, started by qpp about an offer for PSD at 640m, so it isnt strictly false, but I very much doubt S&G have any inclination to make such an offer.

Because imo they want the share price up to get a rights issue away. It's about as clear as day (to a non holder) imo.

They did not confirm or deny! But they did say no offer had been tabled. If I were negotiating with qpp, I wouldnt be over pleased. But they are not too bothered, a bid was never in the offing.

I see they've absolutely tanked as predicted (NOT) on the S & G response...

S & G could have said many things in their response. They CONFIRMED discussions and due diligence were still taking place - (so nothing finalised yet)

They CONFIRMED they had not made an offer - (we know that numbers have only been discussed and we are not at the OFFER stage or an RNS to that effect would have to be issued)

They did NOT deny the value of those discussions . . . . . . . .

Also remember..... the new skippers are pulling the strings now not RT

Do you really think negotiations would have continued so long if they didn't have the money?Do you think Quindell would have mentioned 640m if it hadn't been talked about?

Yes I realise you don't care. It's called denial.

Even as a bear I have to keep an open mind. That is why I am trying to understand if this rumour has any possibility of turning into a financially backed offer.

QPP bulls (including you) are incensed by bears publishing their opinions. If you want to silence them (including me), all you need to do is prove them wrong. One step towards doing this would be to justify how SGH with its gross debt of AUS $265m (< £130m) can finance a £640m offer of QLS.

The second step is to justify WHY SGH would pay top dollar for a company on the brink of receivership. (A bear argument is that by simply waiting, SGH can snap up the WiP from the receivers).
