Whoppy: they don't need a power agreement because they don't mine anything. They have a van full of old mining rigs somewhere in Serbia which hasn't been operational for at least 2 years....

Whoppy to use renewable energy is a great idea but the problem is that it is expensive so no convenient for mining. Now the mining companies are going where there is a electricity surplus so cost near zero but this is not the case of Europe. Finally why to sell electricity to QBT at lower price paid by the grid?

Keep trolling Cryptominer, but to put you straight. There is only just under a 1/3 of q1 left so not ending quite yet is it but also that means we are drawing ever closer to the we are mining RNS.

I will also address Whoppys post at the same time with this answer.

QBt is looking to mine faster than anyone else which means it will be more efficient and greener which is obviously the way to go, on the media interview FG talks of being 1 to 1000 times faster, what speeds we can achieve remain to be seen. We will be working with one of the few companies that produce 5nm chips as per interview!


Personally I would be more worried about the mining companies still using power hungry slow miners tbh if you had investments there.

The worst info is not Putin war but that mining is not beginning. The Q1 is ending and I remind that for mining is needed: 1) the site 2) the hardware 3)the electricty contract with price KW. Till now we know nothing about 1, 2 and 3....
