I don’t often make predictions but if the interest is the same as yesterday then we might start off at 3.3p .. at least we all agree this isn’t a boring share lol

atlantic..not sure if things have changed in the bitcoin world since gardin said they'd be making a profit at break even $4750..$90k profit was a rough assumption on a future bitcoin price of $100k..just throwing a few figures out there

John Casey thank you for answering my question.

anyway say we make $90k profit on each bitcoin mined...just eleven mined will make us $1m so how many do

Sorry if you have commented on this but does this figure represent a margin on the individual Bitcoin or is there some other basis for working it out.

A genuine question thank you.

Now why would it cut and paste comments from an account on LSE?

It’s the same MO, it’s the same person, LSE will take action if reported."

copied your ridiculous attempts at trying to organize a hive mind to stop fair discussion and sent to LSE admin. lets see who, if anybody, gets dinged. you might have another week(or more) in the corner again young lady

The ASIC UltraBoost can be described as an improvement of the Bitcoin mining process (building on all other existing optimisations in the market, including ASIC Boost) eliminating redundant computation of a key part the Bitcoin mining algorithm, resulting in a faster and more efficient mining process.
The optimisation starts from the initial consideration that currently, Bitcoin miners attempt to find the winning hash acceptable to the Bitcoin Network by calculating multiple midstates (by rolling the Version), passing them through further hashing (by rolling the Nonce) to obtain a final hash value that is less than or equal to the Target.
ASIC UltraBoost looks to improve the algorithmic efficiency of Bitcoin mining by proposing 3 specific variants to the SHA256 message scheduler for the 3 instances of SHA256 in Bitcoin mining. These Optimal SHA256 Message Schedule Variants result in faster and more efficient Bitcoin mining by eliminating the redundant computations within the SHA256 message schedule specific to Bitcoin mining.
As such, the calculation of the midstates alongside the calculation of the message digest is significantly optimised.
ASIC UltraBoost reduces the Message Schedule calculations for the 3 iterations of SHA256 by approximately 20%.
The SHA256 function being a combination of the message schedule and the compression function, when considering the optimisations of ASIC UltraBoost for the entire SHA256 function, the number of operations across the 3 iterations of SHA256 are reduced by approximately 7%.
More accurate results, including an overall percentage improvement will be available when ASIC UltraBoost is implemented in hardware.

AsicBoost: AsicBoost is a patent-pending method to speed up Bitcoin mining by a factor of approximately 20%. The performance gain is achieved through a high level optimization of the Bitcoin mining algorithm (SHA256) which allows for a drastic reduction in gate count on the mining chip.

QBT V ARB Tue 23:51

Guys many of us have been here for a while.. I first bought in at 39p, sold out at over 240p…then bought back in at around 100p…but TBH , I think PW has been too greedy by his fund raise…hence we are down here waiting for the new Texas facility to get up and running….Hence QBT is firing the imagination of investors, just like it did for ARB shareholders who were here this time last year…Result, some of profits I took out of ARB, we’re reinvested into QBT at about 4p. and for most of the latter part of this year QBT has been disappointing but money is moving into QBT , very fast.Is it pure speculation or is it a case of something more substantial or more sustainable? .Who knows?. Personally, I think if anyone understands and undertakes some detailed research it is clear that QBT just might have a clear USP in amongst its brain boxes.
The real potential in QBT is that they just might have a 7% saving algorithm, available to all BTC miners …even if it just 3 or 4 % , the potential savings as BTC continues to rise, the saving runs into billions. Result, hedge your bets by holding both ARB and QBT .personally, I think there is more short term potential in QBT than I. ARB.
DYOR but remember, do not read what anyone writes on these BB and think it’s gospel…Do YOUR OWN DETAILED RESEARCH TO ENSURE YOU ARE HAPPY TO PRESS THE BUY BUTTON.

I do feel incredibly sorry for any new investors that think they are investing into a sound company based upon the recent rises here. QBT Has no bitcoin, mines no Bitcoin, has no facility, has no money and everything is based upon an apparent patent for an algorithm for a 7% bitcoin mining increase which up until now is complete pie in the sky about its implementation or actual existence.

Be very careful what you are doing here."

Purplehelmet, I have seen lots of posters say in the early ARB days at 10p had muppetry posted by people like yourself then as we know it went onto £3.30.

PS there is no “WE” as you don’t own shares. How many times do “WE” have to remind you?

Now Zak’s chart says 4.5p and that’s without news.

Did Zak’s chart predict ARB going from 4p to £3.30 ?

This is a very hot sector at the moment and bitcoin predicted to fly

Looks like he will be bang on

In June of this year, PlanB (who is famous for his Stock-to-flow model) predicted that the lowest price of BTC would be:
August - $47K
September - $43K
October - $63K
November - $98K
December - $135K

Predictions for August and September are also quite accurate. Looking like October is going to be bang on also as figures taken at last day of month

Now have a think where this could put QBT SP

DYOR

Just imagine if FG comes out with a massive RNS or a takeover bid and the share price opened up at say 20p, what would you do?"

or if a giant asteroid made of carrots demolished the earth, or if Pamela Anderson became 20 years old again and crept into my bedroom demanding to be allowed to eat a sausage.... you get the drift.
We will be back at a penny before you know it. Hope punters here had the sense to take profits on this mad dead cat bounce

Now I think Zac said we could easily go to 4.5p on the charts, can anyone recall if Zak’s chart went from 4p to £3.30 for ARB?

Obviously Zak’s charts take no news into consideration so. Can’t remember, maybe try and dig an historical out for ARB and what he said chart wise.

Helmet, there is no “WE”, remember you don’t own any shares, you may have sold some that you didn’t own creating a short position and I do hope it’s 1p you need to close your short 😝

Just imagine if FG comes out with a massive RNS or a takeover bid and the share price opened up at say 20p, what would you do?

Ramifications, another word and threat I remember from Bulgarian, I can’t believe all these coincidences.

What a load of Muppetry posted, the ramifications of my imagination that trumps hype, who would have guessed

So we have a shorter and now it all makes sense of why the hardon appears and nobody is allowed to be positive about there investment as gets in the way of shorting.

Now I wonder what the ramifications are for shorters who tell dirty lies to include call the board liars about what has been published via RNS, the libellous statements made etc.
