30/11/2022 13:40 | Both FAME and crude glycerine are produced in significantly lower quantities than LNG. Where FAME use in the marine sector has strong competition from the aviation and road transport sectors, there is no similar fuel competition for glycerine, as only Quadrise has the technology to blend glycerine with oil and residues to produce bioMSAR™ using our innovative and patented MSARĀ® Technology. Quadrise is assessing options to increase fuel-grade glycerine production, and is currently conducting research into producing glycerine via algae and yeast, as well as investigating blends of other renewable fuels. | hazl
30/11/2022 13:38 | Just like some of those are actually 'buys' in the sell column...oh how easy it to deceive...even accidentally. MSC if they ever gave this board time, would be laughing their socks off at your pathetic one liners. IMO 8-) | hazl
30/11/2022 13:00 | The chances of the seagoing fuel trial going ahead in H1 with no fuel, is in my opinion, remote. Unless the ship just drifts without an engine? | kreature
30/11/2022 12:58 | ….there’ | kreature
30/11/2022 12:22 | As the trials progress, Quadrise, MSC and other key stakeholders such as refineries will hold discussions, which are likely to commence in CY H223, regarding the supply of bioMSAR and/or MSAR for use by MSC’s global fleet. A single vessel would consume 0.6kbpd of fuel. | hazl
30/11/2022 12:22 | To continue for reassurance to new investors. 'The POC tests will commence in H1 CY23 after the Leandra returns from its scheduled maintenance and regulatory class inspection in a dry dock. This is slightly later than the Q4 CY22 start shown in our March note because of the time taken to purchase the Leandra. Assuming that the results from the POC tests are positive, MSC will then finalise agreements with third parties for trial and commercial fuel supply and conduct lengthier trials (4,000 hours of operation) to provide commercial operating experience, potentially culminating in obtaining LONOs from the engine manufacturer Wartsila.' | hazl
30/11/2022 12:20 | Discussions? Yeah tbf, I’m in dicussion# with intercontinental hotels bout something. Nothing in the minbar ‘ so kind of similar | kreature
30/11/2022 12:14 | 'The POC tests will take place on the MSC Leandra, which was previously named the Seago Istanbul and was used by Maersk for its successful demonstrations of MSAR noted above. A project team from Quadrise has already checked that the MSAR systems installed on the vessel for the Maersk tests are ready for fuel testing and commissioning tests are ongoing. The new LONO tests will require 25,000 tonnes each of bioMSAR and MSAR, which will be produced by Quadrise and sold to MSC. Management is in discussions with third parties regarding the production of fuel for the trials.' From research tree . Note the fuels will be produced by QFI and sold to MSC. | hazl
30/11/2022 12:10 | FAME and bioMSAR™ require only minor modifications to on board fuel handling systems, and require much lower additional storage capacity than LNG. The additional 20-30% bioMSAR™ capacity required is reduced when factoring in the decreased fuel consumption, due to higher combustion efficiencies in larger diesel engines. | hazl |
