07/12/2022 11:59 | Anybody know the 'real' bid and offer ? Perhaps done a dummy trade? It strikes me that the bid appears different on the main page to the trades page. I am suspecting those at 2p are buys but cannot check at the moment. | hazl

(MT Newswires) -- CMG Cleantech (MLCMG.PA) agreed to acquire British recycling technology company Ocean Polymers for around 100 million euros ($107.3 million) in unlisted notes to be issued. The French clean hydrogen and solar technology company said Wednesday it will issue unlisted notes to satisfy the purchase consideration. The transaction is subject to ongoing due diligence and shareholder approval. | maywillow

07/12/2022 07:28 | Interesting that Trigon seems to be covering many choices of alternative fuel. 'The berth has been designed for multiple commodities including hydrogen-as-ammonia , renewable and bio-fuels, methanol/ethanol or additional liquefied petroleum gas, and potentially hydrogen itself. It will also create capacity at the existing berth for wood pellets and biomass handling, and potentially other bulk exports such as grain, potash and mineral concentrates (including copper, which is integral to electrification). Trigon’s site encompasses ample space for the development of land-side storage and handling areas that may be required.' | hazl

06/12/2022 08:36 | Very deceptive spread,in my opinion. Look how few sells there are. | hazl
05/12/2022 10:49 | At least the spread is narrow. I take it that the 1.95 are buys 1.91 sells? | hazl
05/12/2022 10:46 | Things often drift when there's no news. Then people rush in when there is! Crazy really..... if you like the story that is. | hazl
04/12/2022 11:51 | Thank you Dud. Much better if everybody gets on. Some you win, some you lose, but it's how you do overall that counts I believe. IMO | hazl
04/12/2022 09:26 | G'day hazl, You got out of WOSG at current peak, WD, I too, but only for 45pts, I reckon you faired better. Seems you may have a canny sense with penny shares, me not, I go for bulk and losers/short, risky but so far, rather easy. Cap off to you, seem lucky here as no short takers (20% amiss)? cheers | dudishes
04/12/2022 09:15 | Produced by Quadrise and purchased by MSC, around 25,000MT of fuel is estimated to be required for each of the trials. | hazl
04/12/2022 07:29 | Additionally, both firms will negotiate with other marine engine suppliers to test bioMSAR and MSAR on their engines in conjunction with the studies. Quadrise CEO Jason Miles said: “MSC sets the standard for energy efficiency and biofuel use in the marine sector, and we believe that our bioMSAR and MSAR technology offers an excellent solution to accelerate their decarbonisation and emissions reduction efforts.” In January last year, Quadrise first announced the joint development agreement with MSC Shipmangement of Cyprus to conduct MSAR operational trials on its commercial container vessels. | hazl

02/12/2022 16:17 | Surely it would be even more crazy to put industrial waste water into a state of the art engine. Presumably containing random impurities, and water ? | kreature
02/12/2022 15:57 | I agree...crazy to put gasoline in ships engines or power plants. | sallad3

02/12/2022 13:22 | If the big boys wanted to muscle in then they would take QFI out as they have done the hard work and testing. its the cheaper alternative to doing the process all over again | vauch
02/12/2022 13:12 | Taking it from earlier...it was rushed through I think. Now whether they have addressed these concerns , is difficult to judge, but any ship owner is likely to try out more than one fuel if it can afford to. As regulations have been speeded up, then I expect some of them are reacting with speed. 'VLSFO was rushed for approval last year by the International Maritime Organization, the UN Shipping Agency responsible for global shipping. It was accelerated based on a politically-driven, artificially tight timeline, without proper safety testing. The intention was to give the impression that global shipping was a clean industry, ahead of important climate talks planned for 2020. That was before COVID-19 hit. VLSFO is not an actual fuel - it is a chemical concoction with hundreds of varieties. They have all been labelled VLSFO, but in reality each behaves very differently. VLSFO is not an actual fuel - it is a chemical concoction with hundreds of varieties. They have all ... [+]getty The problem is that VLSFO does not really exist as one fuel. It is a range of chemicals that are so wide, variable and volatile that it is staggering that it is even labelled as one type of fuel. VLSFO is now causing serious ship failures across the oceans, and has significantly increased the risk of oil spills and ship groundings around ..... continued. This is older but explains the dilemma. I think QFI have done so well to produce a safe alternative but I wouldn't be surprised if the big boys muscle in with poorer alternatives. | hazl
02/12/2022 13:04 | A ‘made-up’ It is currently being used by over 70% of major ships around the world. This new type of fuel is responsible for causing serious mechanical and engine failures that have led to shipping disasters, and is more polluting than the fuels used by ships before. The Forbes article I spoke of previously. 'An alarming series of top secret industry reports is painting a picture of a hazardous new fuel (called Very Low Sulfur Fuel Oil or VLSFO) having been introduced into the fuel tanks of global shipping, without sufficient safety testing, training of crew, or regulatory oversight.' 'Environmental groups were so concerned about the fuel and how it was made that they have referred to it as a super-pollutant ‘Frankenstein Fuel.’ The Japanese Bulk Carrier, Wakashio was full of VLSFO fuel when it grounded on the reefs of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean (image from 7 August 2020) The Japanese Bulk Carrier, Wakashio was full of VLSFO fuel when it grounded on the reefs of ... [+]ASSOCIATED PRESS Even more concerning is the fact that no major public authority had conducted a comprehensive evaluation of this new type of of ship fuel before it was introduced into the market, meaning Governments are relying on the shipping industry to self-report on the risk themselves.' This article reviews why VLSFO presents such a hazard for global shipping, sailors, coastal communities and the marine environment. Several maritime experts now believe VLSFO is a factor responsible for the grounding of the Japanese Bulk Carrier, the Wakashio, in July on the coral reefs of the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius. A four month special investigation published on December 21, in partnership with several international organizations, leading maritime specialists, and industry whistleblowers from around the world, revealed the history for how this oil came to be introduced without proper safety testing. The article called, “Shipping-Gate Timeline: How The Global Ship Fuel Scandal Came About” and is available on the link below: MORE FROM FORBES | hazl |
