14/12/2016 11:21 | Hi, Rightmove andand zoopla get paid by estate agents to advertise their property. £1000 per branch. Think of rightmove as a glamorised property newspaper and thats the business model.. The more purplebricks con's public they are getting a service the more agents close and affect rightmoves long term profits.... no one wins from purplebricks model apart from a few shareholders and sellers who dont mind DIY model to save a few hundred quid, not 10000's like the misleading adverts. | boofay
14/12/2016 11:15 | hxxps://www.allagent See what customers really think about pay any model...trust pilot ,,,well,, cant be trusted..they get ratings the same day they put house on market...90% of work done once a property has sold. | boofay
13/12/2016 10:32 | Hot air bubble, best stick with Foxtons, low share price ..way off the highs and no debt. Certainly a sector to watch next year. | ny boy
12/12/2016 19:20 | 8929 instructions and falling For all of the Brucey Bravado car firmly in reverse Its going to take more than a few daffodils in the Spring to get this back on track | hillofwad
11/12/2016 06:52 | Well prewar if you have read my post I havent shorted it but at some stage soon the fairy dust will disappear. The figures are from daily totals as posted on Purplebricjks website The actual properties being sold so this is totally reliable What is difficut to gauge is the actual numbers of instructions arriving each month bricks go out of their way to hide that for obvious reasosn It still gives avery clear indication that instructions have stalled in the Autumn December looks to be disastrous even factoring in seasonal variations Less last year when they had fewer LPE,s 2 heavy loss making months ahead Everybody is so keen to declare Bricks the winner that the numbers are being ignored | hillofwad
10/12/2016 15:21 | Hill I see you're basing your figures upon some website numbers which have been proven to be unreliable when not reconciling to published numbers from the company, as such you're continuing to guess. I'm surprised that some (probably outsourced) chat agent isn't able to give exact number of listings to some random punter. Very brave if you shorted this..... | prewar
10/12/2016 08:04 | Yes I just wish I had cojones to do one at some stage I might break a habit of a lifetime if it hits 200p | hillofwad
10/12/2016 07:56 | Very happy for the share price to continue to rise against this backdrop of a new paradigm methodology of selling residential property - regardless of the company's profitability - it just serves to make it a better short when reality kicks in. | puzzler2
10/12/2016 06:44 | I asked the question this morning Impressed they are now 24/7 on their chatline CHAT EXTRACT Visitor] Its difficult to work out from your site [Khuram] in a short answer, 100's [Visitor] Well yes I should hope so but how many You must have a figure [Khuram] The most recent figures this month are 116 [Visitor] its October and November Im intersted in? [Khuram] Unfortunately I do not have those statistics to hand Extract from the horses, mouth as of this morning Staff muzzled from giving out the info Funny ,the operater had the stat for December but not October or November So winter has already stepped in hard and fast for the Bricks 116 in 10 days!!!!! That translates into less than 400 for the month!!!!!! That means they have to go nuclear in the Spring just to stand still | hillofwad
10/12/2016 06:22 | Basically winter has arrived early for Bricks with the beginning of October being the high water mark Yes as the winter months kick in you would expect fewer instructions but growth started flattening in August Maybe it was just post Brexit blues however we are talking about a company which has forecasted rocket ship growth as the number of LPEs have rolled out The number have increased since then but yet to translate into growth in instructions They ahve forecasted 43,500 instructions this years so Spring will need to go through the roof Today 9050 instructions Lettings still a paltry 405 as of today the equivalent of a high street agent office tally They seem to have tickled rather than disrupted Extract from Bamboo 0 July 16 8300/14924 * 13 Aug. 16 9057/16129 balances... 757/ 1205 28 Aug. 16 9259/16561 06 Sept 16 9456/16961 12 Sept 16 9722/17307 25 Sept 16 9830/17801 05 Oct. 16 9868/18078 05 Dec. 16 9164/17234 arja | hillofwad
09/12/2016 20:23 | Hill Not seen August instructions, please post source By growth what do you mean, what's the comparative to show no growth? | prewar
09/12/2016 19:42 | Excuse my ignorance what's the difference between this and Rightmove and Zoopla? | stallone10
09/12/2016 19:17 | Prewar Still ignoring the fact that growth stopped in August You cant blame Santa for that Its almost becoming th elephant in the room | hillofwad
09/12/2016 18:49 | Paulypilot, remember you I think from some great posts on MKS thread many many years ago. Ignore Hill he means well but prone to irrational commentary on PURP. Who'd have thought less people trying to sell houses in run up to Xmas, whatever next! | prewar
09/12/2016 18:38 | Pauly It already has disrupted and caused CWD for one to invest heavily in its hybrid offer Run a few pilots before a rollout They have had a good idea not a USP. All it has done is shaken up the complacency Instruction levels shot up like a rocket to close to 10k as the LPEs were being recruited in the summer ,Since then it has stalled as of today 9066 FACT! They have buried this in the results .The next few months are a barren time in any event H2 income is not going to exceed H1! | hillofwad
09/12/2016 18:07 | This is a rare beast - disruptive idea which has proven up its business model. Forget PERs and valuation. This could be worth billions. P. | paulypilot
09/12/2016 10:42 | Sorry what's so special here ? Rightmove have been doing this for years... | mr hangman
09/12/2016 10:32 | LOL Kmann Is this the same guy who got CWD right!!!! concour with ih_522310, activity is booming. Therfore the 350p pre brexit makes the current price look like a gift. Buy to letters getting round the stamp duty rise by converting to companies. They are taking FULL advantage of the property market. Some of you need to do a bit more research imo | hillofwad
09/12/2016 09:54 | This is certainly the start of new business model disrupters entering the arena, let's face it, it's a huge cake up for grabs, you only need a Uber to create something special for the property market, Purplebricks, is such a naff name, they maybe one if the first to enter the scene but better players will arrive, they will probably either sink or get gobbled up by a bigger player. | ny boy
09/12/2016 09:50 | Well done to anybody who bought last week 60% !!! Tie up with broker in OZ still a miserable 9060 instructions here as of today | hillofwad
09/12/2016 09:33 | Quite some buying. | hutch_pod
08/12/2016 17:49 | Sorry wrong site?? | hillofwad |
