27/5/2007 16:28 | Thanks a lot Boischastel, That's given me something to look at, as the pub is quite at the moment....still raining therefore less customers than normal for a holiday week-end. 27/5/2007 08:15 | Morning Inntolife. Wookie and I are of the opinion that this share will fly shortly - see our psts as far back as you can go, as they make interesting reading and you will also get a feel for what this share and it's products can do. As to others, I hold BP from years gone by as Britoil, which dates me and that is the only safe share I have! All my others are AIM stocks - just depends on what sectors you go for. I go mainly for resource stocks. To that end, I am off to a place north of Seville today to see a copper mine which EMED have just bought, as there will be no or almost no play today in the cricket at Headingly! First Artist is heavily underrated and deka1 likes Mercator gold, which I haven't got, but he and I have both got Centamin Egypt and Glencar Mining. He doesn't have Caledon Resources, Angus+Ross or RCG Group and Nexus Management (last 2 not resource stocks). So it's up to you, but you are advised to do your own research! If you like new technology, then 3 stocks seem quite good, Ceramic Fuel Cells, Ceres Power and AFC energy (bit riskier IMO but cheaper than the first 2). So there you have it. Now I had best be going. | boischastel

26/5/2007 16:41 | Hello Inntolife. Level 2 is the nect paid for level of ADVFN which you can upgrade to from basic - si hit yellow 'upgrade' buttton at top of page to see what each level gives you and prices. If the price is 57-60, that is what the MMs narrowest price is. At 57 some will sell you stock and at 60 others will buy your stock. Depending on the time of day, sentiment etc, will depend on how many of them are selling or buying, in what amounts and at what price. At that particular time only one was buying at 57 in 5000 shares (some may be buying at 56/55 or lower and in varying quantities. At the same time 2 MMs were selling at 60. One was in 10,000 shares and the other in 2,500 shares. I presume that has fully answered your question. | boischastel
26/5/2007 12:48 | Good afternoon Boischastel a favour to ask re your post number 570 Please could you take the time to explain what level 2 means? Yes I know it is the buy to sell orders waiting to hit their prices...(i think) But what is 1v2 does it mean that one mm is on the bid price eg .57p and two on the offer eg .60? does that mean one is repaired to pay you .57 if you want to sell and two are prepared to pay .60? Is 1x5000 an order to sell and 1x10000 + 1x2500 orders to buy and are these dependent on mms matching a set price? Does PURI have a NMS of 5000 and how could you find out if an mm is prepared to sell say 5x NMS at a price that isn't to high over the normal offer? Having just read this post I think I have answered my own questions but it would be good if you could explain it to me. Thanks PSD | inntolife
25/5/2007 09:01 | come on puri, lets have a nice weekend! | wookie77
25/5/2007 08:30 | MMs getting worried - another tree shake trying to get less informed investors to sell - if only they read this thread!! | boischastel
25/5/2007 08:09 | Good that it won't be a competitor! Will be interesting to see what the Beeb and Mail have to say in reply - will keep you posted. | boischastel
25/5/2007 08:07 | Understood Bois. | wookie77
25/5/2007 07:41 | Morning Wookie. A bit more to it than that, as I had to edit my post here, since some things cannot be said publicly - trust you understand. Suffice it to say that this will NOT be a competitor for quite a while! | boischastel
25/5/2007 07:39 | Well said! | wookie77
24/5/2007 21:28 | Wookie, this is what he said back to me in an email:- Thanks ..... - I've been inundated with this today. It was also in the Daily Mail page 3. This is what I wrote to the woman reporter. It is also going to the BBC and to the Varicose Ulcer people. Dear Ms Macrae, I read with interest your article in today's Mail on the above topic. The worrying thing is that this product, Dermacyn, received a very negative report in the February 2007 issue of the Journal of Wound care. To my recollection, it showed that half the trial sample of patients developed reactions to toxicity of hypochlorite. For your information this technology of using what is generically known as "Superoxidised Water" has been in wide use in the NHS and private hospitals for around 10 years. It is used for decontaminating (sterilising) hospital theatre equipment such as endoscopes. A British company, Sterilox, spearheaded the phenomenon and now many companies are trying to plagiarise it based on their success. There have been many articles published in the Journal of Hospital Infection (JHI) over the years and recently in the Journal of Wound care (Jan 2006 vol 15). Unlike the Oculus product, the British one is formulated so as to be completely free of toxicity (It is licensed to go into drinking water) and has been shown in the latest article in the JHI that it can decontaminate a room or ward which is contaminated with MRSA or the latest popular bug Clostridium Difficile. It would have been patriotic of you to have given a mention to this courageous British company's product rather than an American one but like so many people, you probably had never heard of them. They seem particularly reticent to blow their own trumpet. I am not involved with Sterilox nor am I a shareholder, however, I am an expert on the properties of Hypochlorous Acid, for that is what these products are based on. Yours sincerely, etc | boischastel |
