25/10/2007 14:10 | The big question is therefore why would a top bank like Harrimans lend $20m if they didn't see something they liked in the due diligence? | bones
24/10/2007 17:10 | we should have sold at 56 Bob! | samdayeh2
24/10/2007 10:41 | I swear I would buy more if I weren't Bolxxxk deep in this already. I am so confident that something will happen that I cannot afford to get out now. | samdayeh2

22/10/2007 22:54 | taking a looking at the overview of accounts of the company it looks v poor on paper also taking on new financing $20m=£10m;[is this enough]however would a bank lend[refinance] more money to a company losing a 100% of t/o.The co is gaining respect has the product and now having to protect copywright of late of some of its products. It just might be they have the boffins -management just might be suspect and slower promoting there good products or lawyers and pruchasers being slow. | ian 50

17/10/2007 08:32 | There is that indeed. Good not to be diluted. | boischastel
17/10/2007 07:37 | Refinancing on better terms is always a good thing IMO and the remaining $15m takes the pressure off the cash-burn presumably. I assume Brown Brothers did the necessary due diligence so I take some comfort from this development especially as shareholders are not diluted. | bones
17/10/2007 06:09 | How will the market react to this? Puricore Arranges Borrowing Facility RNS Number:8281F PuriCore Plc 17 October 2007 PuriCore Arranges New $20 Million Borrowing Facility MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA, AND STAFFORD, UK, 17 October 2007- PuriCore (LSE: PURI), the life sciences company focused on the control of infectious pathogens with its novel, safe antimicrobial technology, announces that it has arranged a new borrowing facility totaling $20 million with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. The new facility is a demand line of credit at the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) plus 1.75%. Approximately $4.25 million of this facility will be used immediately to refinance existing debt, whilst the remainder of the line is available to fund purchases of new equipment and for general working capital. Keith Goldan, CFO of PuriCore, said: "This facility provides flexible, cost-effective financing to support PuriCore's business model and the underlying value of the Company. The new line of credit enables us to refinance a portion of our previous debt at a lower cost of capital and on much improved terms. The additional capital allows us to take advantage of and finance the many new business development opportunities before us." | boischastel
16/10/2007 05:42 | That IS boring Wookie. Had similar with PAF for 5 months or so, not SO much tied up in it, but restricts what you can do with other monies. This has got to impasse level for the moment it appears, so am happy just to watch and if it drifts down below 40p, will top up. All the best in the wait! | boischastel
12/10/2007 09:41 | Not at the mo bois, all money is tied up elsewhere. Namely EEL!!! Suspended for 5 months now! Slightly annoying... | wookie77
12/10/2007 08:36 | Always hoping Wookie! How's tricks? Been buying more on the dips? | boischastel
12/10/2007 08:34 | Ian50 is a bit of a tw*t! Nice award. Hi Bois, hope alls well.....have a feeling we're due some excitement shortly, no reason other than gut feel! | wookie77
12/10/2007 08:26 | Hi JW. Thought I hadn't seen you in these parts before! Yes, that was/is the Sterilox UK ops HQ. Not sure exactly who is there and unlikely to be a main doard director there, as they are all in the US I think. Rather further for me to go (over 2000 miles lol), but could find out who to see if you want? The 2 main things which seems to be occupying peoples minds here, is a rumour that a big store/grocery group in the US will stock/use Puri products and an outside chance of a takeover by J&J or similar, who may find the Puri products a useful addition to their own, as well the Sterilox 'solution' which can be used in a similar way to disinfectant but no smell, cleaning dental equipment etc, etc, has been impossible to replicate, thus has an exclusivity about it and no peers imv. | boischastel
12/10/2007 08:13 | Hi, Bois. I've said before that I find lots of attractive things about this company. The main reasons I've not invested are that the MCap looks a bit heavy for the current sales momentum, and funding looks ready to be addressed: Cash burn = Cash ÷ Monthly admin exps = 29.2 ÷ (12.8/6) = 14 months whilst sales don't seem to be growing quickly enough, and R&D costs might be rising faster with the wound treatment trials. You know the company well, I think ... do they actually do much at Stafford? Is a director based there? The reason I ask is that a company visit might be worthwhile. For me, it's only a couple of hours drive - though I wouldn't want to turn up alone, of course. | jonwig |
