22/5/2007 13:44 | I said the following, as have had previous contact with KG. "Dear Mr Goldan, I have just been told about this BBC report, which is out today, which might be of interest to your sales people (maybe of particular interest to those supermarket chains in the US who are field-trialling the solution) and even perhaps on the website? Regards" Will wait and see what responses we get! | boischastel

22/5/2007 13:24 | Read this....interesting and relevant!BBC article about food shelf life. Obvioiusly supermarkets will do anything to increase chelf life where possible - enter PURICORE!!! "Managers seemed under pressure to extend the shelf-life of food in order to keep their weekly "wastage budgets" to a minimum and thereby help keep store profits high." "Anti bacteria solution is used to wipe down items such as the counter surfaces, knives, trays, meat slicer etc. and should be changed every 30 minutes. " Maybe Puricore should read this!! I will email it across!! | wookie77
22/5/2007 13:09 | I know i would like to know too. It does appear that seller is not aggresively buying just as you say willing to pick up what is on offer. | wookie77
22/5/2007 13:05 | Hi Wooks. Didn't see that. Presume big buyer in the wings just hoovering when sellers appear within range. Would love to know how many people read this thread and hold shares in Puri - not that many I imagine. | boischastel

21/5/2007 12:43 | Study Shows PuriCore's Aquatine(TM) EC Effective for Root Canal Disinfecting and Cleansing May 21 2007, 7:00 AM EST Business Wire PuriCore (LSE: PURI), the life sciences company focused on the development and commercialization of its novel, safe antimicrobial technology, announced that results of a university study comparing its endodontic cleanser, Aquatine EC (hypochlorous acid), to bleach (sodium hypochlorite) for root canal disinfecting and cleansing were presented at the American Association of Endodontists annual conference in Philadelphia, PA. The researchers found that the Aquatine EC endodontic cleanser was extremely effective at disinfecting tooth root canals contaminated with bacteria (Enterococcus faecalis) when compared to bleach, the gold standard for endodontic disinfection. Furthermore, when used in combination with EDTA, Aquatine EC was also highly effective at removing the smear layer. The independent study, sponsored by PuriCore, was led by Drs Murray and Garcia-Godoy and conducted by Drs Garcia, Kuttler and Namerow at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. PuriCore's proprietary technology produces hypochlorous acid, the same natural antimicrobial produced by the human body to fight pathogens, from the electrolysis of a saline solution. In 2006, PuriCore received 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allowing it to market its proprietary Aquatine EC endodontic cleanser as a medical device in the US. Aquatine is marketed by PuriCore's Sterilox Dental division. Currently, bleach is commonly used as a root canal irrigant; however, it is cytotoxic and can cause severe tissue damage. In contrast, PuriCore's Aquatine EC solution is biocompatible and considered safe to humans and the environment. About PuriCore PuriCore (London Stock Exchange: PURI) is a life sciences company focused on developing and commercializing proprietary products that safely, effectively, and naturally kill contagious pathogens. PuriCore's technology provides a solution to a broad range of markets that depend upon controlling contamination, including food safety, medical device disinfection, wound management, and hospitality. The Company's proprietary technology mimics the human body's production of the natural antimicrobial hypochlorous acid, which is highly effective in killing bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores. Deploying hypochlorous acid solutions as soaks, sprays, mists, and in other forms, PuriCore's technology is designed to limit the spread of infectious disease, including major public health threats of M. tuberculosis, MRSA, E.coli, norovirus, avian influenza, HIV, polio virus, Helicobater pylori, and Legionella. PuriCore is headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, with offices in Stafford, UK. | boischastel
