Could we get a 2019 drill at Dunquin and use the same rig for Newgrange as well?

Yes good news indeed. Would be great to prove them barstewards at Exxon wrong on Dunquin. ENI have got very hot on this one and they have an enviable record with the drillbit in recent times.

Lets hope O'Reilly can pursuade some of these well heeled businessmen in Kildare to open their wallets then. Interest seems to be flagging a bit here.

Would be surprised if it isn't. I don't envy the blokes on that ship out at sea with winter weather setting in.

Steel it looks like the Pony is going back to port to be fed and watered. Is Barryroe next on the itinerary is the question.

Ocean Observer has been doing what looked like a well site survey on the Norne Field for Equinor, (Statoil), and is now sailing South to Kristiansund - hopefully a staging point before kicking off the main event here.

How will the Republic shape it’s future responsibility to comply with the Paris Agreement? Can anyone else a accept the possibility that existing discoveries only will be developed? I have no plans to expand my PVR holding beyond its modest scale tbh.

Whatever the logic or lack of it in the above para there can be no doubt that the Atlantic Margin explorers will be under a lot of political pressure.

DJT has made America great again and has done more in 2 years than obama did in 8. I see Serica are about to focus on Irish licences again.
