"WHEN" I had de money I considered buying a house on Co.Mayo. I am working class though happily retired. No hero either. Co.Cavan or Co.Monaghan now appeals. Very cheap too.

The Anarchic Pinkos you refer to. Are they the ones that tried to block Corrib development? My opinion is they were the wealthy farmers and the US citizens with palacios holiday homes in Co.Mayo plus 2nd home owners that invested in property in the county in the Tiger days.
