15/10/2018 13:44 | Afternoon Papillion, joined the party this morning. A moderate (for a PI) tranche, not so much for the wildcatting although I feel that PVR are great at deal making and prospect maturation , helped by the OP recovery and negligible reserves replacement globally over the last what, six or seven years at least. The aim is not to try and make a fortune from PVR shares but to be able to access more information, particularly on Barryoe. | gunsofmarscapone
15/10/2018 12:08 | I think you are wise in changing your mind about PVR and now deciding to invest in PVR to add to your existing holding in LOGP, GunsOfMarscapone. As recent farm in news, involving giant American & Chinese concerns, shows offshore Ireland is a very attractive propostion with loads of potential and PVR is ideally placed to benefit from this multi-national interest with it's fingers in so many tasty pies. | papillon

15/10/2018 10:59 | Morning all. More good news, whilst not totally unexpected, and it would be quite an achievement to drill in 2019. However the upside of that is that there will be a lot of machinery around the area doing other drills, if recent information relating to other sites is correct. The RNS mentions only an estimated 15m cost of drilling Newgrange but the part which caught my eye was the added wording 'excluding mobilisation'. That suggests to me that they would seek to use a rig already in the area. A farm out deal of 40% for a free carry would reduce costs nicely and finding a partner may not be a problem with the planned activity next year. It appears they want action on this and maybe they are further advanced than they would have us believe. AIMHO regards | peaeff

14/10/2018 21:25 | "Turki Aldhakhil, the general manager of Al Arabiya, the official Saudi news channel, claimed in an opinion piece that Riyadh was ready to implement 30 measures “without flinching” the moment US sanctions were imposed, including cuts to oil production that could lead to prices rising to $100 a barrel." | papillon

13/10/2018 16:04 | Thanks Bud...tend to use lse to monitor trades during the day and Advfn to engage with heady intellectual debate. | funtimejonny
13/10/2018 15:18 | Ftj - just click the 'Trades' button at the top of the page. Should work for free members out of market hours, but you would need to subscribe at minimum UK Silver to get live streaming for more than a second or two at best: | steelwatch
13/10/2018 14:53 | Well Ive been at this game for years and I've not seen that particular presentation of the days trading. Is it on LSE? | funtimejonny
13/10/2018 14:31 | Yes, steelwatch. That happens all the time. Just big trades where the reporting has been delayed by one hour, or more, or a 5 minute after market close auction (though usually an RNS is issued when there is a 5, or 10, minute auction after market closes). I saw nothing unusual in that data faxxer posted. I just wondered why he got so excited by it and why he had never seen it before? I found his post baffling. | papillon
13/10/2018 13:53 | pap - just some late trades showing after hours. | steelwatch
13/10/2018 12:55 | Shame the indo didn't mention LOGP participation in Barry | funtimejonny
13/10/2018 12:45 | Please explain, faxxer, to an ignoramus like me, exactly "What is going on here" and why you have "never seen this before"? What is the significance of it all? | papillon
13/10/2018 11:07 | What is going on here? I've never seen this before ! ! | faxxer |
