Not quite up to scratch here at the moment. Anyone heard anything regarding Dunmore and Helvick Lease Undertakings? Last I knew was that the licences were due to expire 28th Feb 2018, but someone has suggested that they are currently being considered by DDCAE for extension.

I would contend that if you are currently holding oil stocks and the price goes to $300 then whilst you might be the only person at the pumps, you'll be more than able to afford a fill up.

I see that there is a big AAPG conference in Lisbon this week. PVR seems to be the conference kick-off speaker talking about Dunquin - and there are 3 other papers also on Dunquin by Eni and Repsol. See hxxps://erc.aapg.org/2018/Technical-Program/Program/Day-1-Program
Something serious must be afoot at Dunquin with all these papers?

In that interview from China TOR said "The deal is signed and everything is agreed" and that sign off in Q3 is a matter of Irish and Chinese government approvals. So the deal itself will not now come undone, the risk the governments not agreeing surely not high?

Good to see Barryroe moving towards drilling.

PVR should continue pick up nicely.

Also San Leon Energy who have a 4.5% Net Profit Interet and free carry in Barryroe.

FTJ, Your assessment of the future here does not make for good reading! A successful outcome at Barryroe and Newgrange would put Providence in an enviable position by end 2019 and there would definitely be plenty of interest in taking it out. APEC would be in pole position with its shareholding....

This share is being played by the market manipulators. Just take a look at the miserable size of trades that can drop this 10% in the last week. Anywhere Goldman-sachs are involved games are in play. It's soul destroying to watch this share slip again. Will be be in single digits soon. We were nearly there today already with a couple of hundred worth of shares sold. O Reilly doesn't care for Pis. I notice his comments recently about us looking for short term gains and not being happy if we didn't get them or words of that effect. He will be cap in hand before this time next year just before Barryroe free carry drill and that will stall us for another 6 months Let's have a statement from the more respected Pat Plunkett to attempt to create an uplift. It would be head and shoulders over the usual spiel and rhetoric that sounds great but nobody takes seriously. Does anybody know if Tony has got his 20% salary increase back or does a half signed farmout do. He has no intention of running this company on a shoestring for the next year. I don't think he and entourage had there knees squashed on the seat in front on the way to Beijing this week. Let us hope he comes back with another deal such as an offer for the company. Now that would move the price.

PVR have been "very close" to farm out deals before and completion of the Barryroe deal is still many months down the road. A lot could still go wrong and investors in PVR have been burnt many times. The price of oil doesn't really matter when production - if there is any - is many years down the road.
