12/8/2017 10:55 | FTJ, Not exactly our fault the City insists on drilling wildcats! Not good for de blood pressure the quack tells me.... | ![]() hermana3
12/8/2017 10:54 | Very true harri... plus the fact that the well is now much deeper ...everything is much slower transporting drilling fluids, casing, cementing down the well, extracting /inserting the drill head .. they have to travel up to 4.5km from the drill ship ..which as you can imagine takes time. | ![]() ruedolf
12/8/2017 10:34 | Seems like yesterday's mood of despair has been replaced with optimism on this board today.....Hope it is the right call! | funtimejonny
12/8/2017 10:31 | Yes Harri we may not be as close to TD as some think. Company said it would take time and they know more. | ![]() hermana3
12/8/2017 10:16 | Ruedolf, If there is a solid seal of rock separating the two reservoirs it could slow down the drill bit considerably even to the extent of having to replace the drill head several times before getting through to Drombeg. | harrissen
12/8/2017 10:14 | Herm... we might be one nil down .. but still say we have time yet in the last quarter ... best ignore the shorters on the sidelines. | ![]() ruedolf
12/8/2017 10:03 | Rue, Perched delicately and who knows what we are in for next week! | ![]() hermana3
12/8/2017 09:55 | According to the well drill plan it will take 22.1 days to drill to drumbeg from druid ( thats longer than drilling to druid )... maybe they can drill abit faster by a few days ...but I doubt if they can drill in less than half the time ( especially when the drill to druid was pretty close to the drill plan) by the way some folks were carrying on friday ...you'd think the drill was being plugged and abandoned after only another eight days drilling. Drill plan " Total Days to Reach Reservoir Interval: Druid: 18.3 days Drombeg: 40.4 days " | ![]() ruedolf
12/8/2017 08:45 | According to the Stena website the Stena Icemax becomes available towards the end of September. The large trades after close yesterday show in the 'sell' column on ADVFN but the MMs increased the bid by a quarter point just before close so they could well be late reported buys imo. There were plenty of opportunities to buy at 8p throughout the day. | harrissen
12/8/2017 08:11 | I had the same thought as MM's wouldn't have taken on the trades, unless there was an order in for a few million at a price just above 8p. Definitely not going to hold stock over this weekend. | ![]() itsriskythat
12/8/2017 08:09 | Someone is hoovering up all those sells, M/Ms don't sit on stock while the stock is in a 50/50 drilling scenario, still all to play for here maybe news early next week. | ![]() wardy333
12/8/2017 07:50 | Absolutely, it's a simple switchover of duties from the Flora, which is heading back, to the Frende, which is now heading out to the IceMax. Perfectly normal operations. | ![]() itsriskythat
12/8/2017 07:23 | The Flora is returning to Cork but the Sjoborg is going out to the rig, as you would expect with supply vessels, the Frende is still near the rig, I don't see that any conclusion can be drawn. | ![]() rogerlin
12/8/2017 07:09 | Lets face it guys we all know SFA what the out come will be, its still all to play for. | ![]() cgod
12/8/2017 00:43 | TOR is ready with extra suntan cream to go out into the real world and take any phone calls even if it interferes with his so very tight personal fitness regime. | ![]() seangwhite
11/8/2017 22:03 | So now Drombeg, another Duster from Total and team..Explains the 600,000 and 300,000 sells last minute.... | ragewarrior
11/8/2017 20:59 | P&A RNS Monday 7am?Looks likely to me given the boat movements. Does seem very quick to TD Spared us another Friday special though. | ![]() ngms27
11/8/2017 20:28 | steelwatch, your previous post below appeared to indicate that the PSVs were being sent back early. I was merely suggesting there was no point in keeping them on standby after 1st September as TD etc. would be all over by then. steelwatch 11 Aug '17 - 12:07 - 50630 of 50664 0 0 All 3 PSVs due back Aberdeen c.1 Sept. Skandi Flora rehired immediately to Statoil. Allowing for abandonment, won't be long now. | harrissen
11/8/2017 20:10 | Skandi Flora is on her way back to cork, ETA 0900hrs 12/08. Edda Frende due in Cork port on Tuesday, looks like winding down to me. | notaskanger
11/8/2017 18:51 | harrissen - there are only 20 days left in the month. 1st Sept not set in stone. Another broker suggests 4 Sept. However, from TD, there is possible wireline logging and even less likely, a mini--DST. Following that, all the paraphernalia has to be recovered to surface and the well P&A'd. Plenty to keep the PSV's occupied until the 3 day hike back to Aberdeen. Who said anything about keeping them on standby???? | steelwatch
11/8/2017 17:55 | Well the pvr in the Irish stock exchange were down 10% today. It's not third time unlucky.. | ![]() neo26
11/8/2017 17:51 | Thankfully we've had no late RNS. At least I can now enjoy my birthday on Sunday. regards | ![]() peaeff
11/8/2017 17:06 | Nervous day on market is no surprise. Probably havent even reached TD yet. Nobody knows what we have for sure yet. After Dunquin and Druid easy to see why no news is viewed as bad news. Truth will out before long... | ![]() hermana3 |
