this must be getting into the zone when they announce another placing. The dilution recently has wiped a large percentage from the share price...no news either is not helping...so I reckon another placing being set up for 0.40 mark.

"To have any chance of getting a RI away to fund BP work will need a firm agreement with a partner with some clout to work with us on such trials, and I'm not referring to Oslo."

Bernie, absolutely right and that's what I'm saying although not as eruditely as your goodself.

Financial track record, I agree, is awful ... actually it's a bloody disgrace. Nevertheless, we do have something very exciting, I think. Trouble is, it appears I'm in a minority of one. Clearly I need to keep on taking medication but ... (rant again), if the BoD had any insight into what we've actually got and the scientists had a clue about business, we'd all be in a happier place.

Deep breath in, out, relax. Grrr.

The idea that, at this moment in time, there's any appetite for a RI is amusing !

Darwin, in the shape of Primary Bid, have put together a few decent placings with underwritten open offers for companies relatively recently, so it can be done, but, ignoring the SIS stuff, Provexis has, literally, spent millions on R&D over the last ten years, and has shown almost no return on that. Despite it being a great ingredient with lots of potential, our track record on turning R&D and Pounds, Shillings and Pence is bloody awful. That almost certainly means that the steps taken forward will be very small ones until such time FF is bringing in a respectable amount of cash.

That's the reality, but it was a fine rant and I applaud the effort you put into it :)

LibraG - you are way off there imho.We are in no position to be doing rights issues with anyone.Fact is we have to watch the pennies because that is all we have left.

I think it is only relatively recently that the majority of pi's have started to realise the true implications of squandering millions on SIS.

That is why we are having to watch the pennies because Moon spent the pounds funding his pet project.

You're missing the point somewhat. If the BoD went to the same people they did last May and, after presumably presenting them with a business case, they got knocked back, then it wouldn't say much for their business case.

It's debatable whether or not there is enough PI interest to raise 200k plus. If there isn't then either Darwin buy in to the Primary Bid element and trade their way out of it, or it's squeaky bum time

I'm reasonably confident they'll go down the placing route though.

Hadn't thought of that but not doubt they would be discounted. I do like the idea of Primary Bid and maybe PXS could offer shares at discount via them for the rest of us.

Because it would mean the company couldn't persuade the MNW Individuals that it was investable in / likely to give them a profit, which would leave us with Darwin trying to raise something like 200 to 250k off PI's.

Hi Bernie, why would Primary Bid not be so good?

I'm expecting a trading update this month, similar in tone and content to the one last May which lists out where we are, includes the figure for the loss this FY and then sets out how they intend to raise enough cash to keep us going in the 2017/18 FY.

If they raise the money in a placing as they did last year then I'd see that as a good sign. If they have to raise it via Primary Bid then that wouldn't be so good.

AGL looking good from here. Wish I could say the same for this one.

No.
Only some kind of fund raising within the next month probably.
Please pay attention SS.
That made me laugh.

I finally convinced Senora Sensible to take FF last year, Since then we have done 2 triathlons, completed a Marathon and have been quite busy otherwise keeping fit and healthy. We can both feel the difference in recovery when we have occasionally missed FF. She has convinced quite a few others to start taking FF too following her own experience, even suggesting I up my stake in the company here because she reckons there is not much chance of customer churn, only increasing customer numbers in her view.

While I value the opinion of Senora Sensible very much I have a hard rule, no more than 5% of my portfolio in an AIM company so I might increase my stake but I'm not going all in :-)

As an aside, are we not due an update anytime soon :-)

I don't mind Wheelie trading this. His "Our Fruitflow" and other generic carp does get on my t1ts though, mainly because it's such obvious loaded trite that no-one in their right mind would take any notice of what he types, so why on earth does he type it ?

Beats me, admittedly I've been known to type trite too, but I tend to look on the various boards as just somewhere to type what I waa thinking at the time, it saves keeping notes like I used to.

As for CB, I suspect his financial position in PXS isn't massively important to him, he just feels conned.

I'm wittering ( West rather than East ) so will stop now.

My God, you've fallen off the fence and see that wheeliebin is a waste of oxygen.

Of course, he might be a bot in which case no O2 wasted. Perhaps he's not the only one.

If SAR, NIPT and AGL do what I expect, there'll be a little more to put in here soon.
Fingers and toes duly crossed.

I agree, this board does taunt. Seeing lafin's and wheeliebin's names all alone with no comments to read is so tempting to unfilter. Never, ever a good idea. Just accept and move on ...
