06/11/2008 16:40 | Not holding but interested. A company like this with a near-product that seems to work could benefit from Obama's $150Bn/10 year green energy plan, especially with a big bus maker behind it. However, we're yet to see what constraints US bail-out spending will place on pre-election promises. The money might just not be there. Also, I suspect markets have a long way further to drop, and though pps has been steady, any AIM share can evaporate - indeed, shares on any market can. Still, if there's any justice, £10k at this price ought to buy you peace of mind by 2016. | archie meads

29/9/2008 17:53 | Only 1000 shares offered today encarter when i checked, horredous spread though but all the mm's quote 2000 nms and i dont think any of them have much stock so i had a small punt for a short medium term play, i think this stock will buck the trend and almost any buys will move it, shame about the spread but on recent news i still feel it will be worth my while to get in. | 8trader

25/9/2008 11:24 | With that timeframe, PPS is unlikely to multibag. They won't be profitable for several years so unless there's a large fuel cell spike in the market you'll probably be disappointed. Also, the liquidity sucks and the spread is large so you're unlikely to be able to buy/sell many the the top/bottom of the market. However, as a longer term investment, they're shaping up to be very interesting over the next 5 years. | wjccghcc
25/9/2008 11:04 | guys, sorry to intrude. this was mentioned on another board. Could this be the gem that I have been looking for? I have a small amount of money and wanted to find a multibagger by year end. Is this too optimistic? What are general share price opionions? and why the drop from 80p? will these heights ever be reached again in many years? | spurberry
25/9/2008 11:02 | PPS at IAA between September 25 and October 2 Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH Hall 23 Stand D29 Eco Carrier HY3 Light duty truck with fuel cell hybrid drive, zero emission. The EcoCarrier HY3 vehicles are fitted with Proton Motor fuel cell hybrid systems. The electric utility truck can be ordered in advance at the trade fair. The EcoCarrier HY3 was mainly designed for local authorities and companies with regional operations, allowing the fuel cell truck to return regularly to base and refuel easily with hydrogen. The vehicles' high efficiency means that they only need 50 percent of the energy of conventional combustion engines. They do not share the problems of long charge times and time-consuming battery changes common in battery-powered vehicles. The fuel cell system tank is filled within one minute, whereas a traction battery takes eight hours to charge. Thanks to the combination of fuel cell, nickel-metal hydride battery and high-power capacitors, the EcoCarrier has a range of more than 250 kilometres and is 200 kilograms lighter than an electric vehicle with a lead battery. | encarter |
