I know the answer for the second question

diesel-electric hybrid buses also

how much are they making from the ferry contract which is still in trial after 4 years - why so long & why does it take 4 years to still be in a trial period - something not quite right here

also ask him if PPS will implement the Fuel cells into the hydrogen F single buses only - or will they be added to the diesel-electric hybrid buses also

Thanks

ok, question sent.

sounds too large of a contract just for their fuel cell technology I think.

From the below pdf they have 225 hybrid type buses

There are 368 diesel-electric hybrid buses in London

____________________

Maybe ask him a simple question in that will L Transport be implementing their F Cell technology across a small selection of L Transport buses on a trial basis for them to evaluate the system first before agreeing to sign up into a full scale commercial contract?

if you add service and other cost into a contract that should come close to somewhere at £100m

i got an answer for that from Mr Wall the Chairman

He said they will make it work for double decker, if it work for the ferry than should be fine to convert into bus model.

I am not saying that will be for all London buses for half of them should be well over £50m

How doe we know they will implement them into all the fuel cell / electric buses to start with - most of the 7500 buses are diesel engine & not F Cell - plus I don;t think their F Cell can work in the DD buses just yet

another question worth asking him - perhaps

thanks

its my estimation, that should be at that range if we look at the London buses, there are around 7500 buses alone in london, they are going to implement to double deckers too
ertugrul

where did you get that figure from please - £50m - £100m

how many electric / fuel cell buses do L Transport run at present

let's not forget they can only implement these onto the single decker buses as their fuel cell kws is not powerful enough & not fully tested to run the larger buses

Thank you again ertugrul for your feedback here & emailing the BpD's directly

If such a discussions concluded with London buses that can bring a massive contract, something around £50m to £100m

Let me ask that after his next reply....

seems from what he said the L Transport electric bus sounds a commercial del - wonder what value this will be & if there is a trial / testing period 1st before they install them into all their Electric buses?

when is the next updated Broker note coming out - last one was Nov 2011 - 2 years old

enclid - just sent another email with your questions above, but i am convinced with his reply that they are very close to a commercial deal.

seems the L Transport may be a commercial contract & not a trial / testing contract that will not generate any income from this as that so far is the impression they have done so far to date - many many trials & testing with large co's but noting commercial

Thanks for the email ertugrul

Where he mentions the below extract: Please re ask him the following:

Is the shipping contract still in a testing period after 4 years, if so when do they expect to complete this trial & convert this into a commercial contract - because 4 years is a very long time to still be in a testing period?

When do they expect the SEV Newton Truck trial period to end as it has been 2 years now?

"We have the Alsterwasser ship in operation for 4 years with >50 T passengers. The SEV Newton truck is on test for nearly two years"

I like the 1st reply about the hybrid buses

Thank you again

Working with Solaris and Siemens on a range extender for buses.
"A project is under preparation with Solaris Coach & Bus for the integration of our fuel cell Range Extender in an 18m Solaris Bus and the Group is working with Siemens on an integrated solution for an electric bus system for urban buses. Discussions with other European bus manufacturers are on-going."

"Several 5kW stationary power systems have now been delivered to customers and the Group is now quoting for projects involving higher quantities."

"Start a joint project for a mobile application with Magna Steyr based on an Austrian funding project"

"The Group successfully completed development of the new 25kW fuel cell stack. The new stack will be used in all three market segments (stationary, mobile and maritime)."

"The Group expects new partnerships in 2013 with OEM partners based on the provision of full support, from first planning to completion of prototypes. Products based on our 5kW and 25kW systems are available and we plan to sell them in higher quantities.
Talks with potential customers show a strong interest in our technology."

"After the year-end the Group acquired SPower Holding GmbH and its subsidiary SPower GmbH, the power supply solution provider focused on IT, Telecoms, public infrastructure and healthcare customers which recently developed and will soon launch a new product for Solar Energy Storage."
"Beside the business for power supply, SPower also offers solutions for Solar Systems as well as a new product line for Solar Energy Storage, which will be released to the market in the second quarter of 2013. SPower is also planning to launch a new high power uninterruptible power supply product line in 2013."

"The Group has also developed a mobile 7kW fuel cell system to operate as a Range Extender for battery driven light duty vehicles in cooperation with Smith Electric Vehicles ("SEV") based in the UK and USA."
"It is anticipated that sales of the first vehicles to customers in Germany will arise during 2013"

"The Directors believe that the advanced stage of commercialisation of the Group's technology, coupled with the Group's preferred partnerships, will enable the business to establish itself firmly as a leading, global, fuel cell and fuel cell hybrid system provider."
