The Property Franchise Group (TPFG) Full Year results 2022 - April 2023

The Property Franchise Group CEO, Gareth Samples and CFO, David Raggett present full year results for the period ended 31 December 2022.

The Group achieved a strong financial performance in FY22 through organic growth in lettings and the full impact of the acquisition of Hunters Property PLC in March 2021. Revenue and Management Service Fees increased significantly against the economic backdrop, driving forward profits and earnings. Looking forward, Q1 has been slightly ahead of management’s expectations with regards to both revenue and profitability and the Board remains confident of delivering growth in 2023 and beyond.

Company overview:

Property Franchise is involved in the residential property franchise business, where property investment, residential sales and lettings are key activities conducted across the real estate sector. Given the plausible and diversified funding structure, the group derived a robust performance in 2021 through organic growth and highly active residential housing market, which in turn is likely to drive up profitability ahead of market expectations.  This evidence is supported by the revenue hike of 119% to £24.1m from £11m in 2020. Subsequently, the firm was able to finance its operating and investing activities more effectively with respect to the previous year, since the firm’s net debt plummeted to £2.7m from £5.4m in 2020. As a result, the Property Franchise is lowly geared and highly profitable, enabling investors to optimise returns on investment, as illustrated by the attractive dividend yield of 4%.

Brief Analysis:

Revenue of £24.1m, higher than last year.
Net debt of £2.7m, lower than previous year....

Thanks. It is nice to get off to a good start,though it does not always happen of course :-)

It is also good to know there is someone else looking in here, seeing as there were no other posts since early November. That said, there is also often an inverse relationship between the busyness of a thread and share price performance. Perhaps that augurs well here :-)

I have opened a starter position here today. This was mainly on the prospect of an all-time closing high being printed. Additionally, the Feb 1 trading update provides fundamental reassurance.
