40 bcf is worth $100m-150m

We know there is much more there and if the IPR says less than 500bcf we know it's only work in progress.

If it flows like we sort of know it will then o+g people from all over the world will want in as the capex is tiny as all onshore in that wonderful fiscal regime.

Problem then for PG is stopping the distracting phone calls so he can get on with the Jurassic etc. Actually he may be able to divert them to a broker and bung stuff onto a data room. I can see the plans shifting....for the better.

Anybody sensible knows that charts are nothing more than a trailing indicator. Some chartists such as Zak Mir have enough of a following to believe in his nonsense such that the price actually moves towards his short term targets - thereby validating his nonsense with those very same believers. Of course, nobody notices when the share price falls back after a couple of days.

The vast majority of chartists are not wealthy. As aren't the gypsy soothsayers on Blackpool promenade. Some of us could have predicted that.

PRD moves with news. Very simple. We are entering a very news rich period. the price will continue to rise up until the first of that news in less than three weeks time. After that........who knows. Depends on the news right?

The 12p level has proven to be a difficult obstacle.

Just broken to the upside today, but don't be surprised to see its support tested tomorrow.

The three moving averages, short and mid and long term, are in the early stages of turning upwards.

The downward trendline has been broken and offers a target of 24p.

Be careful.

And Shell just got £1.3Bn from the sale of onshore Nigeria, which has been fraught with issues over the years. Will they reinvest that into renewables, or go shopping for fossil fuel assets elsewhere?

I see from the KIST RNS today that Shell et al are commercialising the Victory gas discovery. Victory is 179 bcf with peak production to be 130mmcfd near the Shetlands with super tax.Compare volumes when the PRD IPR is soon published but one thing is certain there is a wonderful low tax regime in Morocco.

The sheer size and potential of the "prize" will increase the mkt cap accordingly

1 bbn x 4.2 = 4.2billion bbls recoverable or if gas charged multi multi TCF potential




Would be great to get prospective resources on this from the company , drilling April/May de-risked from MOU4 and if the testing of the jurassic flows..

I think there must be oil somewhere to have that much gas and often the oil dwarfs the gas.At least we have found lots of gas for now in Guercif.

As a side note where has the massive gas in Algeria migrated from is an interesting question too. Might not all be in the Sahara in Algeria.

Algeria has 159TCF of gas and only 15bill barrels of oil.
