25k block sell attempt to suppress has failed.

Bottom line is anyone who has approached PHD will have to offer more!

Cant see anything less that a quid being even considered.

There is a great news flow and renewed energy coming from them from what I know of the space they supply. A good news turnaround story regardless of the FSP distraction.

Results in 2 weeks. I would expect multiple RNS updates.

Don't think there is any bid soon this is just the rightful assignment of increasing value and a company returning to growth through better management and the signing of new agreements! Roll on £1 shortly without a bid70p will potentially get smashed this week maybe

So long as the board support management and the change in strategy (compared to Perfect/Hamp Wall approach) is improving the situation then Sykes et al are secure.

Laser focus on debt is needed and then onwards.

This is how you update on an FSP and make it clear the unsolicited approaches haven't cut mustard.

I'm expecting similar from PHD.

The other 52 are you whining about the management that you want to replace. Yet you own stock. :-)

Ff agreed it makes you that way sometimes Judging by the closing 30 minutes the price was very strong so we could have our manic Monday's again on Monday

It’s going to take time for the bids don’t forget it was “several approaches” and the amount of ii’s invested will want their say...that said I think we will get news before the full year results.

Kirk

You are right: I do seem to have contradicted myself there.

I suppose I am just a little frustrated/confused/impatient
- We have a new product about to launch: will it be sufficiently different from competitors?
- We await results to show progress: will they show an improvement?
- We have potential bidders: seems like they have spent over 2 months deciding if PHD is worth taking over! Time is a killer.

So forgive me if I am not consistent!!

Did you not say this the other day:"My preference would be to see the new product launch and the results (30 October?) before we get a takeover offer. Hopefully the news will provide a base for the share price around the 70p+ mark, so any attractive offer would have to be considerably above that."I think I agree more with your stance the other day and only announce a takeover when the price is much higher
