so

the EV is about 85 million (35 mil. cap. value + 40 million debt)

& generates ~ 5-6 million cash

so...take > 15 years to pay off the debt

(updated: correction
40 million debt at 5 million/year would take 8 years to pay off, at 6 million/year it would take 6 1/2 years to pay off)

during which time I assume there will be no divi

(while Naked Trader suggests using a limit of x3 for the years to pay off any debt as a criteria for avoiding excessive risk, which PHD seems to wildly exceed)

is that right ?

Okay I'm finally confident that the overhang has cleared and this is heading back up again. I'm off to sell my VOD shares and then top up here. Fingers crossed it stays below 40p before I return (That will be just my luck!)

Hamp Wall must have done a good job selling Perfect to PHD. He did come across as a good salesman.

At least debt etc acts as some protection avai st being acquired so does have some value - looking on the bright side.

Debt burden does need addressing. A clear debt reduction roadmap even if it involves largely reducing any divi.
