19/3/2024 17:38 | I expect that certain large holders have expressed a desire to have a bit more time to get their shares into a tax efficient wrapper. That's pure speculation though... | rthak
19/3/2024 17:33 | WEW you really are a plonker with you conspiracy theories and wrong every time. | betterupthandown1
19/3/2024 17:23 | More time for old mate ball to unload some of his stake | westendwinston
19/3/2024 16:56 | Wonder why the XD date has been put back a week from this Thursday(21/3)to a week on Thursday(28/3)? | cwa1
19/3/2024 16:53 | xd date has been pushed forward to the 28th. Record date now 2nd April. Payment date unchanged, Is someone needing more time to line up funds to grab a chunk? Interesting, sudden, revision of dividend timetable. | 2magpies
19/3/2024 16:08 | Not really Any co will publish their ex divi dates in advance and shares may drop by the divi % This is a bit different 30% payout and price may hold up Free cash tomorrow?? | chutes01
19/3/2024 14:00 | Is it unusual to give an advance date for a special dividend which gives non holders a chance to jump in for it? | dafrog
19/3/2024 09:05 | I’m confident the market will be good here after divi pay out This may settle over 5p this week GLA | chutes01
18/3/2024 18:01 | Boomboy Appreciate your resilience, a long journey for you I am confident about the future so fingers crossed | betterupthandown1
18/3/2024 17:19 | Hi betterupthandown. Firstly, I’m certainly content here at the moment. I’ve been in here for twelve years with a significant down to my purchase price. I’ve stuck with this and been a lot more comfortable since you took the rein's. My comments were in general to the AIM and not at you. I have a considerable holding here (in my stacks and shares ISA and I’m just shy of my breakeven so hopefully this is just about to come good. (Not sure what will happen after divi day though) So, fingers crossed! | b00mb0y
18/3/2024 13:09 | If the ex-div date had been after 5 April 2024, there would be time for small shareholders to transfer to an ISA account. | landay
18/3/2024 12:01 | Betterupthandown1,Ha | yellows666
18/3/2024 11:44 | no problem with people selling at it takes 2 to tango and as you say that makes a market | betterupthandown1
18/3/2024 11:41 | I doubt kitekat will be here long one way or another .the ramping posts now flip flopping on frustration is evidence of an effort at a short term trade ..nothing wrong with that all participants make up the market with different agendas it is what it is but highly transparent . | megaman2
18/3/2024 11:37 | Yellow666, we have a number of options available to the company to redistribute profits. The main alternative at the time would be a tender offer. This would have taken an extra 3 months and substantial fees preparing a circular through advisors fees, which the board believed would not be beneficial to shareholders but might be an alternative in the future. we certainly will look to continue this strategy if circumstances allow and we also have room to buy back 10% of the company's shares through open market purchases if deemed in the best interest of shareholders. Being a approx 25% shareholder I will endeavour to always put shareholders first. If people want to keep investing with Prim then keeping as much of their holdings in tax wrappers would seem the sensible place. Clearly no guarantee of what happens in the future but the board is positive with some good assets( and some not so good assets), cash in the bank and hopefully a good strategy for shareholders. | betterupthandown1
18/3/2024 11:27 | KateKatI doubt you even have share, or are you just hope the depress the shares to get some more cheaply. If you hold please do us us a favour and sell up and spout your rubbish elsewhere. You are making yourself look stupid. | yellows666
18/3/2024 11:24 | Rupert,It's refreshing to see you posting here and updating us on your thoughts. Unfortunately we have some silly posts on this board from the likes of ..... we all know who. I have my shares wrapped in a sipp and isa so fully tax efficent so a dividend works well for me, but also happy if you had chosen the buy back route Reckon most of Aim CE0'S would have kept the money within the company to benefit themselves, unlike you, I hope Steve with his 13% stays for the long haul and sorts out his tax affairs, a big clue was the reorganization, I recall most of his shares were purcased cheaply so hopefully he will look at the bigger picture here and stay on board. I added for news on Fresho, which didn't happen at the time, but happy to hold on for as long as this takes to play out. Good luck all. | yellows666
18/3/2024 11:19 | I really don't think buying back shares at a much higher price is beneficial in the long term to shareholders .it just attracts traders etc . Ultimately the value of the company will be it's net assets if liquidated . Buying back at depressed share price levels has better merits but certainly not a premium . Just my opinion..not keen on buy backs for a small company such as prim . | megaman2
18/3/2024 11:14 | Meanwhile we are heading for a 2p / 2.5p share price on friday unless we get some fresho news. | katekat
18/3/2024 11:11 | To be honest I'm not that keen on buybacks and as mentioned the dividend strategy was telegraphed long before . So should be no surprise . You have to way up the pros and cons here against owning shares direct . Positives Hands off investment Opportunities to invest pre flotation or at discounted fund raises on broker offerings not always available to individual or small investors . You can buy a share which appears to have a significant discount to its net assets which has the potential to reach it's full value on liquidity events albeit with tax to be taken account of both internal and personal. Negative Cost of running the show compared to owning your own shares Control of selling tax etc Maybe you think you can do better .. No doubt there are other factors but imo these are the main considerations in general . | megaman2
18/3/2024 10:59 | We now have a tap for at least 18 m shares Board will buy when they can | chutes01
18/3/2024 10:58 | And that's why we are paying a dividend so that all shareholders are winners. I personally know of no other invest co on Aim paying a divi( there may well be). No dilution since the board took over and great prospects. Share price doubled since we took over. Costs slashed. Boomby/ westend/katekat if you dont like the company please sell up and move on -but you wont because you know I'm correct and we are returning shareholder value just as we said we would. share prices never go in a straight line but actions speak louder than words and the divi is exactly what we promised with our capital restructuring. Ive backed the company with a lot of my own money so yes I want this to be successful. Other companies littered with directors handing out free shares and options like theres no tomorrow. there are plenty of other Aim companies who share price moves on a pump and dump basis- that's not for me - so yes I don't disagree Boomby with your summation but that's not the case here. Also had a good chat with some of our larger shareholders so hopefully now fully aligned for a bright future | betterupthandown1
18/3/2024 10:56 | Agree with Steve on the investment front . Not sure about the buy backs . | megaman2
18/3/2024 10:46 | The top and bottom of this scenario is that this AIM is highly corrupted whether it’s the MM’s, CEO’s, BOD or any others who have inside information. We / they are all chasing the money. It’s just that they have the control and almost never, ever lose. | b00mb0y
18/3/2024 10:36 | No it's not. It's Paddington saying his way or highway. Bit cheeky considering he lost our money on his punts on rambler, cph2 etc. | westendwinston |
