After some brief background reading, there doesnt seem to be any negative news , before i invest my savings can anyone suggest any downsides to investing in PRES?

I think ill have a very wide 100+ points stop if i do

How much higher do you predict PRES can go in say 6 months?

I'm not sure Jonwig is a holder any more - I believe he mentioned that he sold up here a while ago. He does though post on other ADVFN boards so you could make the request to him on those.

Can we get the header updated please, it is well out of date.

Broker forecasts at the bottom would seriously mislead anyone coming to the thread for the first time.

just to temper the positivity around this stock I would like to highlight the opening paragraph from the half yearly report regarding the outlook.

Overall market conditions for our three divisions, particularly in the oil and gas market, are expected to remain positive for the foreseeable future. The price of Brent crude oil has been relatively stable during the period and the IMF predicts that the world economy will grow by 3.7% during 2014: both are positive market dynamics that encourage investment in new drilling rigs, subsea equipment and services. There has been some softening of drilling rig rates in recent months, primarily due to a supply-demand imbalance with several new rigs being commissioned, coupled with a reduction in spending by some major oil companies. Most market commentators see this as a temporary pause with some forecasting an improvement later this year. The sustained level of enquiries and positive feedback from our major customers lends credence to this view and the Board remains confident in the Group's long-term prospects in this market.

I would suggest a softening of the oil and gas markets may affect PRES. Im unsure by how much but I am awaiting the results to make a decision here after selling up at a nice profit.

It is a balancing exercise. I invest in other companies mainly for the yield, but this is obviously a growth play and I like the way that management has grown the business, so I have no problem at all with the low yield. The fact that the company is now taking on debt indicates that it appreciates the fact that simply continuing to load up equity is not a great long term plan for the shareholders. I wish that all the companies that I have invested in were as straightforward and promising as this one.

I don't intend selling any more anytime soon. I agree it's a very good company, but in these markets thought I would re-invest some of the profit in higher yields now available.

RCT2, agree with you on the principle too but if topvest has a system that works for him, fair enough.

RCT2, Completely agree with your comments especially as the ongoing increases in broker forecasts suggest that PRES is very good value for the ongoing growth the company is delivering.

I haven't sold any of mine and don't intend to. I believe this is a very good investment going forward and the big gains are always made in the long run. There is no reason to sell here, the business is performing well and growing fast. It is uncanny how investors always want to sell winners and run losers, when it should be the other way round.

Top sliced a few more today, so sold 50% of mine for twice the original purchase price. Will definitely keep the rest, but thought it prudent to take some profit here whilst the going is good and the yield low.

All looking fairly encouraging here. Company has made excellent progress. Happy to hold, but will top slice further at a higher price.
