Stan ..

Unless the company goes bust (not happening due to merger) All shorts have to buy back at some stage.

You know what..

Everyone is short this stock ..

There is 17% out on loan (Source Euroclear.com)

And at IG in the last month punters were 71% short and the last week they were 66% short (so some closing then)

Those shorts are going to have to make a very tough decision.

-Goldman Sachs has just bought a pile of stock (and now have a stake in excess of 6%).

-Brent has put on 180% since May 2020 and put on 24% since January 2021.

-One assumes most of the shorts will want to close before the merger as the future beyond the merger is uncertain and full of upside potential given oil price and waning pandemic

The clincher - yesterday PMO put on 9.5%

Don't they say never go short at the bottom? But I am sure those shorts know what they are doing. Speaking personally I would not fancy it. But yeah I am sure they know what they are doing. I am sure they are in no danger.

Goldman Sachs increasing position in today’s rns, now over 6%, if they are increasing position in a company what does that tell you?

Young Marky,
I find it strange and amusing that you accuse others of having mental health issues when you have an imaginary sauce called Mr Heinz who feeds you false and misleading nonsense that you then post on here.
You told us there was a bidding war for Zama, there wasn't. Charlie one had free flowing oil but it didn't, do I need to go on?
You have been promoting this all the way down from 120p with lies and misinformation yet you say Stanley has mental problems, take a look in the mirror young man.
Good luck mate.

Sbb,
Like I said the other day it's a slow and steady 900k shares over two day periods, I have a feeling another will show their hand shortly, no pun intended.
The creditors must be rubbing their hands!
Good luck.

He must have had a bad day shorting today, on leverage would be well in debt now, borrowing more to cover short losses, maybe he needs some debt advice himself
