There’s a contracts issue for oil on 26th feb, it’s expected to cause a spike in oil prices, it’s called backwardation if you look it up, the opposite of what happened last year when oil went negative, big boys will be buying into oil shares prior to this knowing a spike is due, no doubt on 26th/1st they will fall but that’s at least 11 days of potential rises for me then a spike, all imho dyor search backwardation

So, as the most shorted stock in the FTSE PMO has put on 14% since the beginning of the year.

interesting..

I think that Gamestop has had reverberations around the world...

Therefore, quite aside from the strong OIL price, I consider it no coincidence that PMO is looking strong of late

Brent at $63

The new conglomerate is going to be a valuable entity, with PMO's assets the 'sleeper' metric.

At the last full year PMO was trading at 1/4 of NTAV. Now probably trading at 1/6 of the NTAV given the charge in Brent price.

All of this will be more fully recognized once the merger has gone through.

With OIL recovering as it has ...Those who have bought recently (I count myself amongst those fortunate few) have picked up a bargain.

Marky,
A lunatic ramping false facts on the asylum doesn't answer whether you would invest £50k in shares or bonds nor does it give your detailed reasons to come to that conclusion.

As for the lunatic soder assuming there will be buying pressure from the ftse 250 tracker funds come June, is he not aware a company needs to have a minimum of 25% free float to even be considered?

Chrysoar shareholders who are subject to a 6-12 month lock in will own 77 - 83.92% of the new company.

Soder has a dubious track record, here are a few of his recent recommendations;
LOOP, pumping at 230p, currently 73p.
AMGO, pumping at 10.48p, currently 6.78p.
NCYT, pumping at 1012p, currently 785p
PMO, pumping at 20.65p, to be continued!

Good luck mate, be careful who you trust.

Last time I had a gang I was about 12, it was called the black cat gang - our den was inside a neighbours huge bush.... (not that bushes are your thing by all accounts Stanley..)
Losing money.... Oh dear Stanley a loss is not realised until it is sold - I thought you were the oracle of wisdom of ADVFN , my average is just over 30p, I have no need for the money and am more than happy to leave it for now - anyway it’s worth it to have a reason (unlike you) to come on here from time to time to see the Laurel & Hardy gimp show (you being the gimp not andy) and remind myself how lucky I am not to have all your bitterness and sadness, I want to help you - take my olive branch and sort your head out stan.

BTW - Did you check out SYN on the few occasions I suggested it may be worth a look ? It’s doing well and Monday may be a good day for them considering coverage and comment this weekend, I have 15k @ about 100p average - may be a good week for them.

As for PMO - agree there may be many months of stagnation for share price but Chrysaor is a well run outfit (I know) and traditionally financed so my personal opinion is that there could be a modest return on today’s share price for those patient enough to wait out the clearance of the inevitable overhang. I don’t think it will take years, months more likely. The new Harbour energy entity will be a different beast to PMO and could IMO find plenty of buyers, maybe Laurel and Hardy may be tempted to take a bite themselves (I’ll lend you a few £‘a)

PS you HAVE TO watch this Stanley and I promise even you will laugh... it actually led me to order last week the 21 disc box set of them🤣

Marky,
I was good enough to answer your question so how about you give your opinion on whether you would invest another £50k in the bonds or equity?
A detailed explanation of why would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
