Sold my remaining shares at 24.3p a whole 10p LESS than i sold 90% of them on Thursday. Amazing volatility

Big fan of this oil stock but i think now the opec+ excitement has passed the share price will now be pegged to global recession fears (and the scale of!!!) which have started creeping in now as people panic about an exit strategy from lockdown

They will have to stop pumping if they have
nowhere to put it, so another OPEC cut-back,
no negotiations necessary.

Andy- I hold the PMO1 bond, so the debt
servicing is something that concerns me.
I don't understand what you are saying
about the difference in the two ways of
stating the liquidity position.

The other thing I wonder about is the
hedging. With reduced demand, the
fact that they have only hedged 40%
of production may not be significant,
if that is all they produce. Or is it
on a percentage basis going forward
rather than a percentage of last year's
production?

The below statement from the same RNS should also be a concern.

“The Group retains significant liquidity. It has unrestricted cash of $135m and undrawn facilities of c.$330m, as at the end of February”

If it was written like this then things would be different.
The Group retains significant liquidity. It has unrestricted cash and undrawn facilities of $135m and c.$330m respectively, as at the end of February.

Waldron,
The company reiterated its hedges on the 13th of March, see below.
If you are suggesting since that date they have had the opportunity to hedge a significant amount of oil production through 2021 at a price above their cash flow neutral figure of $35 you are deluded. Let's not forget cash flow neutral excludes interest payments on the mountain of debt.

Hedging schedules:

Oil

2020 1H 40% @ $64

2020 2H 14% @ $63

UK gas (p/therm)

2020 37% @ 54

2021 16% @ 42

2022 9% @ 42

Indonesia gas

Premier has hedged 48% of its 2020 Indonesian entitlement gas production at an equivalent price of c. $9/mscf.

The release of today's economic forecasts should be a concern to all investors but should be a red flag to holders of companies with debt they can't service, as the Chancellor said, not all businesses will survive.

I FEEL THEY HAVE HEDGED OUT INTO 2O21 SO CURRENT DAILY OIL PRICES HAVE LITTLE CONSEQUENCE
